I'm just curious. Maybe I've missed a text file somewhere. A readme, or an entry in the help, or on a newsgroup or something, but... Is it just some weird quirk with my system, or does Skinstudio seem to be incapable of displaying bitmapped (as opposed to TrueType,) fonts in the preview window? It's starting to be a pain - the font that does display (arial,) is sometimes nowhere /near/ the size of the actual bitmapped font.
kthxbye
Thread's started dying already - but in my systray: Volume, Battery use/Speed indicator, and NAV. That's it - save for when I'm using JetAudio - and minimize it to the tray. Oh - my task manager also sits down there a lot of the time, too. As for Handles, Threads and Processes: 6451, 351 and 35. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powe
Yup, missed it here too - was out all afternoon and couldn't stay up late enough to watch it again. *sighs* And... we don't have a VCR. Multiple DVD players in the house - but no VCR!
"So the war discussion is about health care and the state of the union post is about war." Isn't that how these always go? ^_^
DK still - California Uber Alles!
That link would be Frogboy's... it took me awhile to force my way through parts of that.
Soooo - I'm reading through said link, and first, I need to say that I'm surprised - the spelling and grammar useage is better than you see on most web forums (Wincustomize excepted, of course.) - but that's beside the point. The best classification I can come up with, I'm afraid is: Paranoid Conspiracy-Theorists. Please, never send me a link to that site again. ^.^ <img src="http://images.stard

Yes, actually, I make a /huge/ distinction between radical left and simply liberal. Most of my own views tend to cause me to fall towards the liberal side of the fence - but at the same time, I make my own decisions on issues instead of blindly following any form of party-line, so while I tend towards liberalism, I also tend towards a moderate form of liberalism - since we humans, are so concerned with pigeonholing and classifying everything. Hrm - I'm rambling again aren't I? Sorr
Good choice, IPlural! They kick /much/ butt live.
Always a good plan, IPlural. There's two things always dangerous to talk about, offline or online (and seemingly mroe-so online) Religion and politics. ^_^
"There is, in the view of the radical left, no evil deed that Bush is incapable of while at the same time Saddam is seen as a victim by them" Having many, many friends among the radical left - I have to say, uhm.. no? ^_^ Not a single one of them sees Hussein as a victem - they may see the Iraqi /populace/ as victims, yes, but I've not met a single one who believes that Hussein is a victim, or that he should even be in power. Just my experience though - oh, wait, I know intel
*sighs* Once I am working, I am /so/ going to buy it just for the icons. I absolutely love the icons.
This Corrosion - yup, same artist as above.. well, my previous one anyway!
Personally Russ - I /love/ the splash - and this is from someone who loathes them! ^_^ Hrm... The section of text underneath the "What is Dangeruss Industries?" graphic - the text which begins 'Dangeruss Industries.com is an art resource company run...' doesn't fit properly when my font settings are set to 'large' or 'larger' - maybe it might be good to set an explicit font size for that part of the text? Not everyone keeps their browser text setting on medium or smaller
Bumper sticker? Hrm - my current car only has a FreeBSD bumper sticker on it - I've been doing a good job of keeping it 'clean'. Mostly because I have dreams of actually fixing it up and making it sweet once again. It's an awesome little car. ('98 Isuzu I-Mark - erm, forgot what they were called down in Oz & the rest of the world for everyone else. ^_^) Personally, I think we need some Wincustomize bumper stickers! hehehe <A HREF="https://www.wincustom

Whew - I've been lucky, weaksid - I've never had a client's computer with boot volume problems that couldn't be fixed with a 'fixboot' from the recovery console. Well, there was the one who had the HD that completely died - but that's different. ^_^
Just look up KMFDM's 'Retro' - and follow the tracklist down. ^_^ (KMFDM - Money)
In response to a much earlier post by joetheblow: The problem with communism is simple: People. the problem with democracy is the same. Or socialism. Or an 'enlightened dictatorship'. Or... you get the idea. ^_^ It's an over-simplified answer to things - but, it's true. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrowser!
12am /PACIFIC/ time? Gah - damn, I'd really love to, too - but no chance.
KMFDM - Brute oops - make that: KMFDM - A Drug Against War track just changed. ^_^
Utterly useless?! No way! Surely somebody as creative as you can find a use for it, Shmoopy! =D
Oh great - another suite I want but can't afford! Augh! ^_^
I use 'console' - and there's also 'eConsole' - I do believe. Sorry - I don't have a URL handy - the one I had seems to be dead. :/ I think I first saw reference to it on Virtualplastic.org
