Speaking of healthcare - my roommate's going to need it soon. Grrr. Me: Okay, okay! I'm ready to go, come on. Her: Oops, hold on, I need to go change clothes real quick. AUGH!!!!!!
kthxbye
As for those health plans, KG - yeah, I've heard about one in Maine - but I've honestly never lived in a state which provides them (VA, MD, OK, and Minnesota most recently - though I never looked in Minn,) so I can not speak of them. Or - if any of these states /do/ provide them - they don't make the people who could benefit from them know about them - and isn't that just as bad? (Augh - being glared at - I'm really running now!) ^_^ <A HREF="https://www.wincustom
This is where statistics prove that once again, they don't really mean much of anything, however. Augh - I did have some numbers I was going to give - so Frogboy doesn't claim I'm one of those liberals (heh,) just spouting stuff out (Sorry, I had to say it! ^_~) but my roommate has just informed me that I'm driving her to the bank. Blah. Anyway - as of the 2001 census - the percentage of people with absolutely /no/ insurance coverage was a 'modest' seeming 14.6% of th
Simply put... because Internet Explorer, stock, doesn't support tabbed browsing - which is the standard in nearly every single other browser on the planet now? Besides, those 'silly little browsers' are simply wrappers for whatever version of MSIE you're running anyway. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles
So not true - well, except for maybe that Texas (and Oklahoma,) part - but definitely brought a smile to my face! ^_^
Gads - you're all smart enough to read my horrible typing contextually... but, just in case: b) are rich enough /FOR/.... not 'poor'. Gads. Coffee, here I come!
I'm making a very hard effor to stay out of any talks about the US, or especially, US healthcare, but... I just need to fill in the blanks on a few spots. It's nothing personal KG! ^_^ "(on top of Medicare and Medicaid), you just have to take the time to enroll in them. It's a "help yourself" type thing." ... which turns down a very large majority of the applications for aid that it gets. These were created to help only two groups: The dirt poor and the elderly - and the c
Relieving stress? Oy - fortunately - and unfortunately for that matter - it takes a /lot/ for me to get stressed - and when I do it's always a LOT of stress. But... smoke a cigarette, pull out one of Gibran's books and proceed to ignore the rest of the world. Mindless violence is always good too, that's what I keep Soul Calibur (on my DC,) and Hunter: The Reckoning (on the XBox) around for. <img src="
Woohoo! Congrats! Hey - and dont underestimate computers that you build out of parts! The ones I've always managed to cobble together out of parts that have been sitting around have always been sort of dear to me. *chuckles* I even kept a P133 that I'd managed to cobble together sitting around as a firewall just, well, just because I'd had the parts and was able to put it together. ^_^ <img src="
I'm stunned. And that's all I really need to say about it. ^_^
*blinks* Wow - you know - I had to read, and reread this many times before I realized that by 'resources' you didn't mean PC resources.
Ugh! Tell me about it Shmoopy! I spent $60 on a nice bag and my stupid Toshiba is too big to fit in there properly. Fortunately, I was able to figure out how to get it in there - but it's still a little too big. *sighs*
*shudders* Thanks for the offer KG - but I think I got the gist of it from the Post and Times this morning.
Speaking of covers... Dead Kenndys - Viva Las Vegas
A good high pressure water sprayer works nearly as good as Frogboy's bristle brush too - but you get the added enjoyment of being able to shoot it at your neighbours as they go by.
"Shine in the Storm" - the Gundam 08th MS Team theme song. ^_^
The Man of La Manacha soundtrack - so, I'll probably be in tears soon, wuss that I am. ^_^
And now a belated: HEY CRISSY! Hi! welcome! How ya doin'!
Drowning Pool - Bodies - XXX Soundtrack.
Windowblinds, Iconpackager, BandVWM, Window FX, Object Edit, Spring Folders. That's all the programs from OD that I use regularly (Well, Iconpackager is largely a use-and-forget program,) and I couldn't imagine running windows without any of them any longer. Lots of people like DesktopX, and lots of people like ObjectBar. While I think they're great programs, I don't personally care to use either of them. Still - I got a /wonderful/ value for my money, I think! <A HR
Gee - now why would you say that, MikeB? ^_~ Now if only there was a version of colony with narrower window frames. *sighs* ^_^ heh.
" A lot of spontaneous reboots and things like that are cause by video drivers." Well, one of the causes of them! ^_~ the other things mentioned will all cause the same symptoms - but yes! I didn't even think of video drivers - those could be a possibility too. You're right Cavanaugh - 41C isn't too bad - and I'd think it would probably be better with it on the cart rather than under the desk. If it isn't video - what about your memory? Are you using aggresive timi
I have... tons. Tons of them in my download folder (I was embarassed when I saw how much I downloaded from here!) but - not a single one of them is installed at the moment, at least not on my notebook. On my notebook - I currently have 4. Yup - just 4 skins. The 3 that shipped with 3.9 and Vox. Well, 5 if you count the one I've been telling myself to work on. <img src="http://images.stardock.co
Wow - usually I make 'em cry! What a change! heh. Night folks! (Really going now! Honest, I swear.)
/me gives Shmoopy a big ol' g'nite kiss!
