Anyone know where I may be able to pick up a legal copy of homeworld 2? I am going away and bring my laptop with me. I am going to load her up with some games prior to FEAR. Basicly anything a 7600 can run at good settings.

I would not like the idea of steam being the only source. I do think I like impulse better the steam. Steam has its ups and downs. I just got FEAR 2 last night. It uses steam for its DRM. I can say this about steam, if there is going to be DRM on a game I would rather it be steam over the other drms. At least does not screw up my computer.
I did not think I gave that much away. Just said something about the quarm as well as something about geata. I did not really go into details.
I still would like a good story to go with the game. But this is one of those games that is top notch and does not even have a campain. I think the best story for an rts was homeworlds.
I wonder how this Caprica will go. BSG started out really good and season 3 got a little boring. The 2nd half of season 4 has been good so far. Tonights episode was pretty good. The quarm finally showing some backbone. I do agree with what others have said about bluring the lines of good and evil and whos right and whos wrong. They did a pretty good job with Gaeta.
I get the basic idea that say if bank one can shoot 3 targets each target will get 100% of the damage. But what exactly is a bank? Is there a way to know how many targets there are per bank? For the sake of making it easier, lets use the Kol.
I will try and turn down my graphics and see if that helps.
I downloaded the new beta last night. I have been unable to play for more then like 2 min. Everytime I either get some kind of minidump, or windows shows the program is no longer running. How would I be able to send the file in showing the problems?
You unlock or lock teams any time you start a new or saved game. I find lock the teams until you start to get going. Then unlock the (say yo have 3 ai players). Do a few of the easy missions for them at first, but pick one you want as an allie. Once hes your ally relock the teams. I find this way keeps them from all gaining up on you, but makes it a little more fun to get an allie.
I rarly name my ships. The few times I did I went with major battlefields, such as Iwo Jima, gettysburh, shilo, I have also used stalingrad. I think those are the only times, and only ones I used.
There are scifi out here (think star wars) where there is no earth. The back story is such a small part of the game I never gave any thought to as whever there was an earth in this game or not.
So the question is is this spam any worse the the older spams? I would like to see more effect flak again. Just up the flak power and don't touch anything else. I only play offline, If I fight agaist a fleet its all fighters. If its structers I add some bombers in. I do also run some bombers if there fleet is not overly spammed. But for you online guys I would assume fighters are the norm.
I can't wait for the next story.
Mines are annoying. But thats what they are ment to do. Having mines disapper is a bad idea. Mines just don't do that. You put it some place and it could go off year and years later. Every now and then you still find mines from WWII. I think some kind of mine sweeper class ship would be something to consider. A dedicated mine sweeper friget that is only good at clearing out mines would be nice.
I acutlly like having an extra tree. It helps break things down better. Plus, as some one said you can research more at a time.
hmmm.... you're right. anyway, they aren't actual lasers either way - they are assumed to be superheated plasma projected and held together by a magnetic field from the barrel.
Okay lets go with that. Back to the hyperspace, here is what I got from the force.net http://www.theforce.net/swtc/hyperspace.html Edit, I posted the link but th
actually, the star wars ones are "blasters", not lasers. even ships batteries are reffered to as "turboblasters"
I do know they use the word blaster. However, I am not sure on the turboblasters. I need to look that up. The only time I know for sure they use the word laser is with the deathstar. And that thing does at least kind of work like one. Edit: It does not mean I am right, but so far I can only find blasters refearing to th
Gues what Scifi is? It breaks the laws of the universe that all of humankind knows. Scifi is not ment to be our universe all the time. StarWars, StarTrek, etc. they are not our laws of physics. This debated is to figure out how hyperspace works, think outside of the box. Our laws of physics should not constrain our immagination. So right now screw the laws of physics right now. FTL could be possible maybe that hyperspace is 1 million times F
on the hyperspace issue, i think we should all recap, just so those who havent found the greatness that is Saints of a Solar Empire (much better than the other fan fiction posted on the sins forums, i have found) can effectively argue for or against our points. i believe that it is an alternate universe, although an alternate dimension is possible. straight-up ftl is just not possible, lucas wasnt stupid enough to directly violate the laws of physics.
I don't know about
Don't get me wrong, I know what you mean by bungie. I did not do much in the forums, because it was very annoying. I am acutlly really into Halo. The multiplayer was a lot of fun, but the community is so bad I just don't like putting up with it unless I have had enoght to drink. Have you ever done the chromehounds thing? If you never had you would not know what i mean. Halo was like a blessing compared to that. And knowing how bad halo and bungie are r
Perhaps the two gates sync togather and calculate a route. This infomration is giving to the nav computer aboard the ships. The vasari then sync to the gates and follow this route. It would not matter after they get into phase space since the route is already calculated, and the correct sync is already down. Think of them like a gun. You pull the trigger and the bullit comes out. Once you pull the trigger and the bullet comes out you no longer need to the g
I think the star wars hyperspace is just faster then light travel. While phase space in this game is more like the b5 hyperspace or the slipstream space as some scifi fans use. With most scifi the hyperdrive tears open a whole from our space to hyperspace with brute force. However, in B5 the shawdows were able to phase in and out of our space. I think in this game the idea is the same. You phase into a different space but don't rip a hole in our space. </p
A lvl 6 marza is what a capship is supposed to be, as far as bring in the firepower goes. Both the Advent and the Vasari have some killer capital abilities but both really need to different caps to exicute it correctly. The marza needs only to get to lvl 6.
I have been on Bungie.net recently and I have to tell you that the Halo 3 foruma and the flood forum has the biggest number of flamers, complainers, and idiots on any internet site. Their are some good people but not that many. Bungie should really take a look at our forums.
I guess you have not been to the gears of wars or the chromehounds forums. Those two places are pretty nasty. Chromehounds has a very small crowd and perhaps the worst.&n
I think in order for the battlecruiser to work caps would need to be more powerful. I am talking about DPS not abilities. If we up the DPS on caps (which is not as good as it could be) then we can make the battlescruiser work. It would have high DPS like a cap, (which is why we up it) and would trade ablities and armor for speed. It would bring the punch but it could not take it. The only real problem I see is caps just see to die to easily. Focus fired a
