Perhaps Advent capitals could just be improved to have good phase missile blocking inherently to give them more strength to stand up in the early game without need to buff or change anything else about the game. Damn we all should have thought about that one! lol. I think that is the simplest solution yet.

I'm a browncoat, and I will pretend that firefly went for 10 years as a successful show just so that I may have peace of mind knowing that some producers didn't kill an extremely beautiful experience. Because if I actually step out of my denial, I might actually want to do something about it. Adding PM blocking to the guardian's shield projection would make guardians additionally useful in the early game against a vasari cap ship snipe fleet, as well as provide more use for them in the late game due to increased capability against a phase missile unit spam.
