I recently posted a question regarding mouse errors in SOASE and Entrenchment. My problem is the pointer stops moving. The mouse continues to work, but I can't see where it actually is unless I happen to move over a menu item and it highlights. The pointer itself sits dead in the middle of the screen, or wherever it happened to be when it decided to give up. I just recently reinstalled Sins and Entrenchment, and this is the first time I've run into this problem.

Hey there, just reinstalled Sins and Entrenchment. Not sure what's going on, but my pointer stops moving while I'm going through the menus, prior to starting a game. The mouse doesn't stop working; I can see where the menu items are highlighting when I scroll over them, but the pointer itself doesn't move. It works flawlessly.

I agree with you, regarding the lack of interest in devoting huge chunks of time to the game. I don't really consider the lack of a campaign a detriment, however. I've looked at this game more as a game of Risk, but on a much larger scale. There's no campaign there, either. We have a background, we know what we're trying to do, so let the game begin!
