The world is already dominated... And you don't appear to be aware of it.

I don't think posts like this has any impact on when it will be released. :P

Even if it would be, noone listen to Zubaz anyway. ;) Personally I'd try to avoid using the name of an existing skin (specially bigger suites) to avoid ambiguity.
[quote who="alfiejs" reply="1" id="2154359"] Quoting mickeko, reply 21 If I hadn't made the remark about the permission slips, you probably never would have even considered a post like this. You must have stayed up really late at night thinking of that one.... Um, no. I don't decide what I say or type based on someone elses ramblings. Copyright infringment is a serious offence. I am assuming your servers are based in the United States?

Fans and harddrives are the first things to fail in most systems. The power supply is also fairly common, since it takes most of the hit by inrush current at power on. The risk of actually wearing out the CPU or motherboard, or any other non mechanical component befo

Banned for resuming a thread that has been a chain ban from post 1.
*sigh* Why do everyone with this problem dig up some ancient thread about it when there are perfectly fine, more recent ones available? :P I'll save you the trouble of browsing for the other threads... try this: (From another thread) [quote] Download this replacement stardockweather.ocx file: http://sd.stardock.com/ken/stardockweather.ocx and save it to your ObjectDock install folder (C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock). If you have too much money I can suggest eBoostr 3 . It works for vista, and (imo) seem to do a better job at caching stuff than readyboost. Not to mention that you can also see it work. :D The trial doesn't expire, but is only active 4 hours/boot.
Trent Reznor: I want to cluck you like an animal. Ehm.... It is from one of my fav NIN songs... :P
I dont agree entirely with orange stuff, but aside from that this looks great! :D I'd name it "molten glass", since that's what I first thought of seeing those vibrant orange tones. :D
Boot time is not critical.. But before I started tweaking, my system took 5 minutes to be in usable condition because of a load of crap wanted to start at once. My computer boots in about 1:30 now, which is perfectly fine by me. I don't recommend things like messing about with registry, disabling services and such because microsoft didn't automatically enable those for no good reason (with the exception for error reporting, which should be disabled by default. No software that is non-
I've mentioned this in another thread, but it makes sense to have it here too: Run services.msc then try to set all services that are marked as "automatic" to "automatic (delayed start)". Most will give you an error message, just cancel the window on those and move on to the next service. It'll speed up boot time, most notably if you have many third party services starting up at boot. Note that you *could* get issues with some programs if you try to launch them immediately after boot,

Here's my take on it... Skin X = Original skin Skin Y = Derivative work If skin Y is made to match skin X, but is built 100% of original artwork, I wouldn't request permission at all... I'd just post it under some fitting name (obviously not the same as the original skin, as it implies a suite.), put a text stating "This skin is made to match skin X" in the description, and leave it be like that. If skin Y does contain artwork from skin X, or if I want to use t
