Alright guys, I'm looking into the issues now. If I don't have the majority of the issues fixed within the next couple of hours I'll rollback. And yes, we did do quite a bit of testing, but apparently we didn't catch everything. Sorry about that. More coming soon. Bara
sorry to bump for nothing, just a little test

yes, but there are different pools of favor points, for solo, custom and pantheon.
it is not really a rpg or a rts, so comparing Demigod to company of heroes or baldur's gate is not really relevant. There will be a demo, just try the game and you will see why it has fans. edit: the forum has some problems today, when i typed my message, there was no answer.
ok, the huge rank is the only thing that really bothers me. I think it is an awful idea because players hate taking damages without facing their ennemies. Having a sniper demigod is not an issue, but having a whole type of demigods that are snipers hidden behind their minions would not be fun at all in my opinion. I would prefer to see them with no attack at all and a lot of support spells for their minions/the others demigods. Or with the same weak attack than their minions and eithe
/seconded and asked a billion of times by various players. By the way, it would be really great if there was a sticky where the devs explained what they think of the features asked by the community. That would avoid having 3 posts a week asking for the same thing, like to always display the mana/hp, double tap to cast on yourself, bars with your allies hp/mp and so on. The devs don't have to write 3 paragraphs on each feature, a little 'agreed, this is needed. we will eventually add t
i don't want to be negative, but there is a reason for the generals to be so not generalish. I don't know the details, but the generals are just demigods with pets because having a 30+ minions army wasn't working, so the devs had to come with an other idea, the generals that we have in the final game.
) Have a massive range attack. Something in the range of 20-25 based on the person. Keep them out of the battle and their minions in.
That would be really fun for
Since the stat system is not reliable you can't know if the problem is coming from the stats or from something else
Is simspeed affected by bandwidth / connections to other players?
It shouldn't, it just tells you how many game cycles your system can compute during one game cycle. It should'nt be influenced by your connection.
I dont see the need for the no item, all your gold thingy; just having a button/potion/whatever that launches a conceide poll is all of what is needed. With your systems, if i want to conceide, i have to sell all my items to be able to do so, and if my allies disagree, then i am fully naked and have to rebuy items. I don't see the point. There is also maybe no need for a rank limitation, most of the time, you indeed have to wait some time to see who will win. But if 2 of your allies r
You could easily solve the problem by cutting all Sedna's direct damage by 33%, including Pounce. Sedna would still be very useful but you'd have to choose between easy to use direct damage and harder to learn but substantially better minion damage. That would solve the 'problem' as it exists today.
Minions would be a must have then, and that would not be a good thing since you would have no other options than going for

That said, even if they were done releasing additional content during a time when people are ticked about networking issues would send the wrong message. So...assuming the additional content is done, which is a possibility, it won't be seeing the light of day until at least some measurable pr
TiduZ, what's your point other than to be rude and insulting?
I am not sure that he is aware that trolling is not making a point.
Sedna skill set have to be reworked a little to give the yetis an interest. I have only played a few times with them and it was not really encouraging, they cost too much mana, need a lot of micro and are not especially strong or fast. The only 2 ways i can see Sedna be played is either as a support demigod (with healing aura, heal and speed maxed, in order to effectively help the team) or a tank/harrasser (decent damages or enormous health, Sedna is not the demigod that does the more damages
i asked for it during the beta. Many others people asked for it during the beta and after the release, and we don't even know if the devs will eventually add it. It's a standart feature that should be in the game, we shouldn't have to wait 6 monthes to see it coming. I can understand and forget the connectivity mess but some importants features are missing, and most of them are not even hard or time consuming to add, like this one.
yes you do. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I don't think any new demigods are coming out soon ... they are still working on getting people to play the game first.
jeez, do you really think that the same peoples fix the netcode and creates new demigods?
Before the release, i am pretty sure i read that the 2 first new demigods would be added in the 2 monthes following the release. But there haven't been an ETB since then.
i may be wrong but i think that tomorrow's patch is supposed to solve the games not recorded problem (and the rankings will be reseted once they are accurate)
i already had the bully once or two (since the achievement isn't recorded (today patch: please don't suck please don't suck) i can pass all ahcievements again and again (yeah). Probably with horribles ennemies. The other one is almost impossible to get: if you suck so much that you are 10 levels behind, you can't kill anyone.

the first time you notice that abilities makes you stop you are frustrated. But after all you only have one unit to manage, knowing that using an item/skill stops you, you only have to clic again after, no big deal.
Devs have said they will be fixing this.
and it is NOT a real balance problem. If you want to pull that trick, you have to sacrifice a lot of time (you have to wait between each cast) and gold only to lose it all the first time you die or your minions are killed. The time and gold invested in that little exploit would allow you to gain 1 more level and to buy dangerous item (like the parasite egg if you really have

His supposition is not totally pointless, when you sell/buy by mistake, being able to cancel the transaction without losing money would maybe be helpfull. But it is not a huge design flaw, and you mustn't be able to sell a random item at his full retail price. That would kill a whole part of the strategy involved.
