"Oak gains 20/40/60 Weapon Damage if he controls at least one Spirit. In addition, Oak gains 20 Weapon Damage for every 3 Spirits he controls."
indeed pretty straightforward^^ i thought it was way more complicated than that. They should definitely correct the tooltips, it would take what, one hour?
ut I'd hope we could get at least minimal communication from SD when severe issues occur
during the week i also like to know what is going on (and to be honest stardock keeps us informed) but during the week end i can understand if there is noone to make a post.
Grenades also get a slow. And Reg has a passive for it too. Sure, the slow is nice, but feels kind of redundant when you look at Reg's other skills, their costs and their recharges.
since the mark has a really quick cast time (if not instant) and really stops your opponents (-60% on max level) it is a really usefull skill, i always use it when i play as regulus (but i don't use the passive slowing effect i find it not usefull en
i don't think they will add a news panel in the game, you want news, you go to the website. Gpg doesn't have the unlimited amount of cash to spend that blizzard have, so i can understand if that kind of feature is never added to the game. However, concerning the skills, some texts are incomplete: when you just now that you have an aura but don't know the % there is a problem indeed. But they can't explain how the maths work for a skill that adds dmgs to the oak in the little e
interesting, if i see 2 or more Regulus in the opposing team, i will maybe use that favor item. Because when i am marked, i sense that either way i am screwed: -if i use an ability before the mark cooldown is over i love a lot of mobility and some hps -if i don't use an ability i have to wait for the lloooonnnggg cooldown to to finish (and that doesn't protect me from a second mark) and not using an ability is a huge loss as well. I would like to see a consumable that
no problem^^, maybe the problem is coming from the fact that i am french and in french i do not congratulate you on this one (" je ne vous félicite pas sur ce coup là ") is maybe more common and less aggressive than in english. i just wrote that because i was amazed to see that they have forgot that detail. And to Opawan, yes you gain quite a lot of favor per winning match, but since my points started recording just a week ago, being able to gain 2k points per hou
Really? I thought achievement system online and offline are separate. Are you sure?
yep, i observed that bug while creating an online match (not solo) against ai and i have made some test, at first i thought that the favor where coming from regular favor points and had a hard time when i realised the devs simply forgot the achievements when they tried to fix the ai exploi
Maybe you don't know how the shield work: it doesn't cover you for a set period of time but nullifies x damages. So if you start by making 500 damages to that shield when it is cast, it will obviously be broken quickly. edit: i'm not explaining very well: in fact, it also cover you for a set period of time, but in your case the damages seems to be the limitation.
Cry more? I mean favor is hardly a matter on it's own even with the "old ai exploits". But to complain about such minimal problems is really nitpicking.
it is just that making you unable to gain favor point when you play against an ai while forgetting that you can still gain a whole bunch of favor points is really a stupid error, no crying or trolling involved. I just want to report that bug so it can be fixed asap.
why not? Another reason to create filters is that many people don't mention in the lobby name in what area they are
I love using the mark when i play regulus, it is a very usefull skill, but when i play against a regulus and he marks me, i often ask myself: what i can do against it? The damages are not so important, but the speed debuff makes a gimp out of me. i imagine that if there is an Oak nearby, the shield should debuff that mark, but if i am alone, how should i react to it? And is there a way to remove the mark without getting the speed-nerf?
I noticed something with the favor points yesterday, I played a match against ai to check how many favor points i had and decide which favor items i would buy next. So i set up a match against ai only, and i take QoT since i never use her. No problem during that brief match (starting level=20 to speed up things) but on the next match i notice that i have more favor points that i should have. After some tests i realise that ok, you do not gain favor points in a
i don't like that, the game should check when the match begin or maybe 5minutes into the match if there are human opponents. If everyone drops i think i should be able to gain favor points.
Game is way to unbalanced
No, it is not.
Btw is "opening torrents" the new expression for "downloading"? If I would do such shit I would just throw on the next best ftp download which comes to my mind. Just curios because that expression seemed so native to many people in this thread
with bitorrent (well, any p2p protocol in fact), you can easily kill your upload, and i think that is the way to go if you to be a major league asshole and create a lagfest. If that kind of behavior becomes too common, the devs h
I hate to sound like a jerk, but there's no mention of Replays anywhere here.
? he mentions the replays. Nice post, i was hoping for a list of the upcoming improvements.

/seconded. Just a little thought, once ALL problems are gone (stats, netcode, favor, skillbug) releasing new content (well, the 2 new demigods) could make some players come back to see how the game has changed.
So what exactly is it, how is it calculated?
the sim speed is basically, how many more cycles of the game (one instant in the game world if you prefer) your computer can compute during a game cycle. So theorically anything above 1 is enough, but since there are far more units at the end of a battle, if you start with a sim speed of 1 or 2, you are likely to experience some lag in the final moments.
Why does changing the graphics settings appear to have no
I also don't like to be insulted by 13 years old nerds but it never happened to me in demigod. Maybe it only concerns the european community (after all the game is not released yet in France, maybe it prevents some dumbass to buy it) but i have to say i have nothing to complaign about. I stopped playing warcraft 3 some years ago, and the fact that you got insulted during one out of 2 or 3 matches played a role in that decision, i hope the demigod community will never be like that.
I'm hoping your mental retardation doesn't prevent you from understanding.
[e digicons]k1[/e] Back to the post, i also love Demigod, but some details are hard to excuse, the connectivity mess was largely unpredictable and stardock worked hard to solve it, i can't honnestly ask for more. But bugs like the ability not activating were known during the beta, and releasing an online game with such a bug is hard to excuse. Since the last u
just my 2c, but i think that i you seek innovation in video games, indie games are the way to go. The mainstream video game industry doesn't like to take some risks. Sure you see a demigod or a portal from time to time, but most dev team prefer make sequels that adds next to nothing to the original game. Whereas indie games have to be innovative if they want to sell. You should take a look at Overgrowth, Braid or World of Goo.
. 7 day ban for people who leave on their own free will.
1- you only have to disconnect yourself from your router to bypass that kind of thing 2-sometimes when the battle is lost, why would we have to stay for 5-10 more minutes (yes comebacks are possible but not always)
it would have been nice, but sadly it is probably very hard to do, technically speaking.
test edit: sorry the forums are buggy today.
