Every strategy game always has something that is a joke, something that no one ever uses, or something that is just sheer useless. Whether it is the Limpet Drone from Command and Conquer Tiberium Sun or the Helicopter from Rise of......
You can read the article here Pretty interesting/short article written by Polynomial. I reccomend everyone give it a read.

Great post Kestrel, agreed with all that. GPG communicate through Frogboy which why they dont post much - thats what they said.
You want a long tail on Demigod? You need to bring in Replays and a player Modkit /support ASAP. By ASAP I mean by the end of June.
REPLAYS and MOD SUPPORT Read it GPG!
u gave him a +1 for what is said that is wierd
I meant I agreed with him, not give him karma :)
there shouldnt be any "what if's" in an OFFICIAL league game. personally i dont think it is that official, if people do start whinging about "oh this wasnt a league match".
Im really confused. If two players play each other, and one says "Ok this is definately a league game ok?" and the other goes "ok". When the game is over how do you prove he said that? You cant. It just doesnt work. Why do you keep bolding "official"? I dont really get
Good work GPG/SD :)
GPG also got us an update tonight (that wasn’t able to go in the build) that improved some of the command queueing and following a demigod. I haven’t got to try it yet. There’s a lot of moving parts as you can imagine that kind of thing.
Very nice to hear this is being worked/looked at. Pathfinding and following demigods, especially around corners, can be really bad. Its nice to see pathfinding/a.i getting upgra
Ive said this lots of times OpenGames.asp does NOT show all the players online. It only shows people in a game lobby or already in game.
StAcK3D_ActR, its the only way to ensure people dont bitch about whether or not the game was it. What if someone forgets to clearly state that its a league game? Or maybe the loser of the match will deny it ever being an official clanwars match. There are so many problems its not even funny, and the only way to 100% ensure there is NO confusion about matches is to make sure that the game only counts with tags on. This rule wasnt implied just for the sake of it - too many case
double post :\
Yeti's arent that bad tbh. But you have to use them in conjuction with the right build and other idol minions or they fail. They are really useful for tanking towers. There is definately something that needs to be added with them though...I just dont quite know. Increase their cap to 6? Increase damage? Mana steal on enemies? Chance of inflicting DoT damage....
Guys im gunna say it now that clanwars.cc is an awesome site, and we should be grateful there is a Demigod league. If your looking for some competitive games I really advise you to sign up. From my past experience with other games, clanwars.cc has just been awesome.
Mine changed in 10 minutes. Just change your Login Name with the forum :)
This is awesoooooooooome!
there will be no actual rage quit stat. Rage Quits will just count as a "Disconect" stat.
So what is between the 3 minutes and the 10 ? Disconnected ?
It gets counted as a RageQuit, and so will show up as a disconect. Overall I like your idea's. They aren't perfect, but they are by far the best possible solution to rage quits and disconects thats probably possilbe now so awesome job :D
I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but the single most frustrating part about gameplay is the 'move before casting' bug. I don't doubt that getting this fixed is a priority, but this bug can completely ruin a confrontation with an enemy DG. Please please please have this fixed soon!
This is apparently fixed in 1.01 which has been released. Have you updated nad still go the bug?
Enjoyed doing the beta, dont see why I wouldnt enjoy doing this :)
Are you sure its not just your internet cutting off half way through or is it actually just a random Demigod d/c?
This is so elemental and important for MP-RTS that i cant believe it isnt still in game....
Talk about it...

If you guys have ideas on what it would take to get more of your friends to buy copies at retail and on Impulse let us know.
Replays. So people dont think the game is useless for the competitive scene.
Just goes to show you folks, you can't win by just zerging damage, use your brains and tactics.
Not really....It shows that you will lose if you play with two bad players.
1) This is a team game. Unless you are playing 1on1, noone cares how an UB eats up any demigod. You just do not fight an UB in meelee alone, unless you have backup on the way and you staying there is part of the plan.
Yes, it is a team game. This doesnt mean there cant be imbalance though? If its a 2v2 situation, the side with the UB will have the advantage (late game) as he has 7k+ hp and has very high DPS.
2) HP stacking goes both ways, so if he can get
Yes you played with two noobs. Your not the first one ;)
I'm just a little leary of calling out the nerf bat on demigods. We saw it with Erebus and within a week, threads started about mist being OP as well. Hell regulus constantly has threads made about both snipe and mines being OP. Now UB has threads about its armour, HP, and damage (journal), ooze, and spit. When will it end?
Well the Erebus nerf was totally called for and he is still a very strong character to play with. Its not so much a UB problem as it is that he cant ju
