I for one, love the 30 seconds to reconnect. Thanks to Comcast and their shitty performance, the 30 seconds allowed me to finish a game. However, 30 seconds for people who obviously have rage quitted; I'm not so happy. EDIT: NEVERMIND, I take back the love. This 30 seconds do no reset. So you will have total of 30 seconds time to reconnect in a say, 40 minutes game. If you got shitty internet or play in shitty internet hour, forget demigod for now.

Fixing connection issue overnight across multiple days. Expected. Keeping communication across several production teams. Expected. Continue to release information to public. Expected. Reaching out to 3rd party like Game Ranger. A little surprised. ====================================================== Reaching out to the community hoping one would respect another. Very surprised, Bravo. For this, I can truly say I respect Brad Wardell (Frogboy)

I don't think the game is THAT unbalanced. Some demigods are just far more flexible (strategy/tactic viability) than others. For example: Erebus. Erebus isn't so grossly overpowered that he can kill you in 1 shot like CS:S with AWP in a slow moving game. He just so happen to have an answer to almost every situation, and hence a good player would be hard to deal with as he is not limited by his character. Rook on the other hand is obviously lacking in the speed
the only problem is the easyness of 5 snipes compared to a stun from demigod 1+ snare from demigod 2+ silence from demigod 3 5 snipes would be the most epic win... ever. Just imagine, 1 minute into the game, everyone aims at one Demigod and shoots. However, the cost would probably be pretty big against good teamwork. The cast time is pretty big, and while you do kill one person, the other team can probably kill like two

Balance: Rook's tower now pull surrounding enemies toward it. Unclean beast's stun range doubled and pull target closer. Oak's penitence now teleport the target next to Oak. Sedna's pounce range double and teleport herself next to the target. Snipe was replaced by a new skill called jarate. Jarate spill a mythical liquid on target and stun for 1~3 seconds.

Well, it is possible that OP is saying that the game is boring to keep seeing rook in 1v1 and slaughter them every time.

If you are using vista 64bit, then what I say might help you a bit... There were some issues with realtek RTL8168C/811C (and maybe similar series of this device) ethernet drivers awhile back with vista 64x, I think it still have problem right now. Alot of people install a 2007 or earlier driver, which solved their network issues. Generally you can find the driver that came with your motherboard or search on web site of your computer brand company (dell, hp, etc). You can find

3) I would say impulse will be closer to hybrid P2P than pure P2P. Due to the proxy server setups, etc. Don't think hybrid P2P is a correct terminalogy though, but I think that's pretty easy to understand.

The risk for changing mode in mid battle are greater than the reward imo. Not worth it. Too many things could happen while you slowly transform for a full one~two second of vulnerability. The only reason for dual element I see is to increase fireball damage on that lv15 skill, and nothing else.

It is all about not focusing on the minions. You don't go to steak house to just eat mash potatoes. Don't buy creeps from citadel unless you have 12k+ gold to spend on priest+angel+catapaultsari in 1 go. Getting priest early only feed enemy DGs. (creeps = reinforcements = monsters from portal; minions = general summons) Start with idols or not depending who you are up against. (buy -> summon -> sell idol currently is very helpful) Regulus and Torch bearer have the most t

You can't really harass erebus. It is almost a waste of time (and mana). Better off focusing on killing creeps. Mist dodge fireball and venom. If he does suffer damage, he will just bite back from some random thing. Minions walk over mines for kicks (use less mana to summon too). Penitence cost almost 2x more mana and deal less damage than he bite+heal across all level. Towers is about the only thing keeping him away (and maybe siege idols and/or range auto attacks). Later lev

1) tower do not gain any benefit from upgrades through equip nor citadel upgrade. 2) erebus can recover mana with heart of life while in mist, but not health. 3) bug or intentional coding that provided a poor result.

I find minions are almost useless without enemy armor decrease, slow down, and not late game. Too many conditions need to be clear in order to use minions. Also almost impossible to score a kill without 1 last moment high damage spell while they escape. I think currently the only demigod that can satisfy most of these conditions is erebus. He got numerous minions to take advantage of +attack equips for minions, he got armor decrease+slow down with just 1 skill, and he

I think I would only be worried if the opponent also got a QoT or UB in the team. Due to their capability of taking down towers at low level (no, not with uproot). Meh, don't really know for sure because I haven't fight anyone who use cap right yet in 2v2.

I don't suggest demo players to play with regular players. They will get absolutely slaughtered and (rage) quit. Maybe let them go into pantheon (skirmish with rank = more prefered) only and choose one demigod, then match them against lowest rank players possible. They will get stuck playing 1 demigod and 1 side of "their choosing" (omg, a choice?). The temptation to try other demigods will be great. Only problem are those people who can do 1 same damn thing for 24/7 wouldn't

I am mostly worried about team coordinated game with 3vs3 or bigger. Each side will be forced to use a regulus, or lose. Because those non-reg players will just buy items and drop for reg to sell to get those money. With several of them, 26k isn't hard to get, then it will be all down hill for the other team if they don't have someone with those 2 godly items too. Even without mageslayer, ashkandor alone is enough to send other team to hell. 18k is even less of an effort, then from de

All demigods have more creeps killing power than sedna, which mean creeps upgrades will be (usually) good against her; if she buy more creeps to counter your creeps, you will gain even more advantage with your faster killing speed. Avoid wasting too much time on her and use speed and teleport to out level her through creeps. Stay with the creeps and clear her creeps (not minion) first, in hopes of creeps add onto your damage. Of course, this is assuming 1vs1, and she d
you have no REAL stuns
That's the key. From late mid game and later, it would be very hard to kill any good player without a stun. If you are going to let a game last that long, pack some good stuns (AoE ones especially). I would define late mid game when one's total gold is above 7000~8000.

It can work, but your chance are slim to none. The chance is also VERY RANDOM. I will say 10% chance it will suceed with 2 people behind 1 router to play in a 3v3 game. Even if you play with exact same people which had succeed in the connection before, it can still fail to connect and plague 0ms everywhere. The purpose of impulse was actually to allow user play with each other without port forwarding, so that's probably why port forward or not doesn't really help. My guess is that par

I don't bother with creep armor upgrades anymore. It is pointless as demigod just blow them into the air in 1 sweep. I used to thought they could at least survive 1 more hit or something, but apparently not until like lv4~5 upgrade; by then, most demigod are already too powerful for it to matter. I do get the attack for creeps though, it help killing tower where no demigod is present.
