Well actually, it wouldnt Give them a large boost in Resources at the start, or throughout. Put timers on attacks? Set aggresive levels. Wouldnt take that long especially when theres already levels out there.

If you have a slow / low graphics comp. Turn it off. Good Comp- Turn t up. If you experience FPS Lag, (Stutter) turn it off. Its just makes the game more pretty basically. lol in simple terms.
Worst comes to worst, just edit the galaxy files and make it so the AI gets 99999 of each resource.
The "Save Invalid" sign doesnt come up on them. So people are going to be like "huh?"
Trying to be a tad helpful here, but, if you have a saved game and you update to the beta 2.5 then those saved games will most likely create a "Mini Dump" and wont even get to the game. However, new games have no problems at the moment. So complete any game before updating. Hope that helps some peopel =D
What Israil said sums it up i think. I created a thread like this last month. Needs some work i think, and i agree with darvin, i cant sit down for the 2 hours or more to fight. I find that if i know ive won, i change team and fight on behalf of teh computer, gives me a bit mroe challenge.
Bumpage. Been out ages now ahha.
Nethom, i had this problem. I looked at registrations and i had: 1. Sins of a solar empire - Registerd 2. Sins - Entrenchment 3. Sins- Entrenchment. So, i deleted the 2 entrenchments, and added a new registration, (MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE EMAIL YOU USED WHEN PAYING FOR IT, IE, PAYPAL) and it worked. I was putting in the email i thought i registerd it with. Hope that helps? :)
I have entrenchment and i dont notice a difference :( I actually resort to saving, loading the game and choosing to play as the computer. Send all ships to one location, and hope for a big fight :(
Yep. Boresssssss me. Every time my big fleet, which does take me a while to build up lands on a planet, boom, they run. How boring is that? Its just me chasing. Seriously want it changed so when you put them aggresive, they actually come to you.
I try, try so hard! What i notice when playing some skirmishes, is that the AI does not attack me. And if they do, its a tiny outskirt asteroid which i couldn't care about. I always end up, bringing the fight to them. I make them supper aggressive, i go against 3 AI, one a Research, an aggresser and the other one. There main fleet sticks together and just jumps from planet to planet that they own. Tad boring. <
