Fellow councilors, I am very pleased with our progress so far, especially the military build-up. It will help in negotiations and keep other races from threatening us as much. For research I think the most important objective is Advanced Hulls . We cannot allow the Thalans to beat us to XHP. Other than that, I propose that we research the following soon: Sensors IV , Basic Logistics , Alliances , Research

I agree with Councilor SarcFa on the benefits of neutrality. Faster terraforming, better relations with the powerful Thalans, improved trade, better research centres later...we can't pass that up. To combat the income-draining improvements we've built, more trade and more economic planets is a must. A strong economy is the most important part of a successful civilization. Advanced Computing , Weather Control , Advanced Diplomacy

We shouldn't disband, but there is no need for us to take any action right now. We should just vote for what we (individually) feel is best for now. As you guys said, the Coalition will be needed if someone gets all whack-job pro-military and tries to pass crazy proposals, and once our military is ready. We'll just bide our time.

I only wish to speak on two topics; the detaining of the scientist and planetary names. The detainment of the scientist is a controversial topic at this point. It will be looked upon negatively by other civilizations, but the benefits and the fact that it was not cruel make it acceptable to me. If DS17 is to become our Research Capital, I think this was a good decision. However, unless the benefits are too good to pass up, we should try to make good or neutral decisions in the future.

Your Highness, general assembly, I would like to propose researching Stellar Cartography in the near future. It would help us avoid wasting time exploring empty systems and would only take 2 weeks to complete. I do not see an immediate need for it, so this can take action on this at a later date, but I feel that it should be done within a reasonable amount from now. That is all.

Once again, my fellow Coalitionists and I share the same opinions, including Councilor LordCarlos's trade center plan. Other than that, I have nothing to add. At the service of the Initiative, Councilor Nikolai

Minister Andimus, your research plan is an excellent idea. It would only take few weeks, and the benefits would be useful. It would also allow Stellar Cartography to be researched, which would help our exploration. We should carry this out. Would any other councilors care to add to this matter?
