What do you do? Walk up to the man, kneel down before him and beg forgiveness for being an American....hold a 3-day long summit about the cruelties and injustices done to terrorists...ask him if he needs anything.....oh wait....by then, he might have already been blown all to hell....

i don't know really what is "wrong" with EQ2....just it never really grabbed me....maybe it was the setting.....i don't really know. I just know it didn't....and WoW totally has....

I must say....I am really enjoying WoW.....I installed it about 1 am this morning, played for about 1 1/2 hours.....got up this morning, and the first thing i did was take that junk EQ2 off my pc. Sure, EQ2 looks good....but....personally, I would much rather play WoW. As I was playing today, when I wasn't nearly falling off my seat due to being tired...I was trying to pin point it down to what I like so much about WoW, or, what sets it apart

so....in other words...Jesus is going against the Father, but the Father is all about death and judgement (in spite of teh written word, John 3:16).....Jesus is ok with homosexuality....in spite of what Jesus did with sinners.....he never condoned sin, he told the woman who was caught in adultery to "go and sin no more"....not to "go, continue what you do, because I love you"..... Really not sure what the point of this is, other than to say th

over-reacted is very possible.....but i still stand firm in the fact that the stress of combat and knowing what the enemy was/is capable of, even when dead, could cause a soldier to feel that he was threatened....

Also, after reading your question again...maybe i answered it in a direction that you were not looking for..... They are "One", just like a Christian becomes "one" with Jesus..... If you check out John chapter 17, you will see that Jesus prays for those who believe in Him: (John 17:20-23) "Niether pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on Me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, are in m

there are several references to Jesus as God - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a

I have never said it doesn't deserve an investigation.....not once have I said this.....but i believe the marine was justified....it is WAR..... Now, as to your other blatant misunderstandings....was I speaking of kids throwing rocks? Was I speaking of gasing Jewish prisoners? I really don't believe I was..... Sorry you were so insulted by my referral to a "B grade movie", especially a m

note to Soltair: uh, they already are hated......I know I was in S. Korea 10 years ago, and the South Koreans generally HATE us.... Note to Tex: read what it said, "Liberal who hasn't a clue about war"......you may be a liberal, but you also understand something about the war....in other words, you are not that liberal saying that

like i said....the Private Ryan scene....that was to show relevance of the realities of war. Would it have been better to use the Black Hawk Down movie, when they drag the guy through the streets? The fact of the matter is this.....In war, you must do what you need to do to survive and come back home....or you just don't come back home....at least not breathing. I would rather be judged by 12, then carried by 6. And thanks Daiwa for a

I wasn't using it as evidence, exactly....it was more....relatively speaking, maybe.....in that, that type of stuff happens....and American soldiers are usually the ones to get the screwy end of the deal. It has been nearly 10 years since I was on active duty....I honestly don't remember the exacts of how to deal with wounded hostiles....but that key word, "hostiles", should tell you soemthing.....they are hostile, and will try to kill you. In war, my

Draginol....that is exactly how i feel.....to a perfect "T" now, the two (or three) that said that the Bible says that Christians are supposed to be lapdogs to society, and take the scraps from tyrants....show me.....1 verse from the OT, and 2 from the NT..... I can show you where the Bible says to be strong in your faith, to walk worthy of the Lord, to not live in sin, to be strong in t

is it true that he felt he was threatened, and that his unit was threatened by a man, who has been very recently, shooting at either him or his brothers in arms? If so...who CARES if the camera was there!!!!!! To me, that marine did the right thing....he eliminated a threat (doesn't matter if he was later discovered to not have a weapon)....he was looked upon as to being a threat. Remember in Saving Private Ryan, the Americans spare t

but there is a BIG difference between Abu Gharib and Fallujah..... Abu Gharib was a prison camp....Fallujah was a battleground. The marine THOUGHT he was being threatened....therefore....he eliminated that threat....on a BATTLEFIELD..... And, these same nice, human beings (perhaps nobody on this site has called them that, BUT, i have seen and heard others refer to these terrorists in that way....nice, gentle human beings bei

I stand by him 100%....too bad a few more weren't faking dead either

i agree....this crap reminds me of the B-version of Rules of Engagement I personally think the guy was doing the only logically real thing to do. If an enemy is FAKING that he is dead....why would he be doing that? Tell me? And for ppl like Chris Matthews to sympathize with these animals is beyond me....YES, they are animals....interesting how i hear about this marine being a war criminal, but the g

an enemy is an enemy is an enemy....and a wounded enemy is still an enemy.....and a wounded enemy is even more dangerous than a physically fine enemy. That wounded man could very well have been "carrying" under his cloak or robe (or whatever). Bombs can be hidden....all in the name of Allah.... Besides, the kid that Kerry took out was wounded, right? AND trying to retreat, right?
