Its completely possible, though you'll have to do some editting to your galaxy forge and if you want the player to rebuild the starting 4 starbases you will have to do some editing to the entity files. Also you may find that your defenses are scattered throughout the "Defense belt" sense there is no way to set exactly where they appear. Also, you may have to have a small asteroid or debris in there as I've never seen a completely blank gravity well (not sure if it's pos

I'm pretty sure the way you want it its not possible. While people have gotten ships to go outside the gravity well and to other planets even in vanilla sins, the game still considers that ship to be in the gravity well it started in, and thus can't see/shoot/do anything to affect another gravity well. Your ships just shows up close to another planet...
As said, you basically have to blow all of your enemies up or come close too it. However, the new expasion is rumored to have more game modes that could change this (perhaps in addition to editing the AI surrender conditions).
It proabably has something to do with all of those pirate worlds. AI doesn't like to assault them, I tried to use them a buffers before but it took forever for them to do anything about it, and by then I had captured the rest of the map so it was a piece of cake. Try giving them a longer, pirate free alternate route and see if that improves things.
You're not the only one to request that (and offer to help with making one), but sadly if any progress was made (I don't think it made it out of design), I'm pretty sure that mod is dead. [e digicons]:'([/e] Good luck with reviving it though. [e digicons][/e]
For the galaxy forge, their is a file called GalaxySenarioDef, which you can open in notepad. It defines all of the planets, objects ect. that the galaxy forge uses. In the game info folder, an identical file exists that you will have to make the same changes to. The game's base entity files are in binary. However, you can get perfectly readable text file versions of the same files from the forge tools you can download from this site (in the reference data). The sins en
1. I know its possible but I'm not sure exactly one the steps. I'd guess save your expanded mesh file in the mesh folder, make texture adjustments as necessary, and study the planet entity files and change the mesh & texture references to your adjusted ones, plus any other changes you want. 2. To get a new planet into galaxy forge, you need to do some edititng to your GalaxySenarioDef file in BOTH your mods gameinfo file and the galaxy forge.
1. I know other people have changed the severity of pirate rates, maybe just make it so that no pirates will ever spawn on all levels? The AI might still enter bid wars, but that should do it in effect. 2. Not possible, at least from just the galaxy file. 3. You have to mod the galaxy file in a text editor for this. Its the same as adding different custom militias to normal planets. I know their is several posts on this, though if you can't find o
If your teacher has good hearing, bring in a device with a speaker that makes a noise like the masquito ringtone when turned on, and then watch as he/she hopelessly tries to find the "Cellphone". Text random pick up lines if he/she has a cellphone and doesn't have your number. Play the Sins main theme super loud at random intervals during the lecture.
That and an option to turn off all of the user interface (a true cinimatic mode) would be awesome. But only if all of the players in a multi game agree.[e digicons][/e]
the only problem that I see with cloaking is WHAT IS THE COUNTER or flaws in cloaking?
Perhaps it can be a buff that applies itself in the gravity well, and removes itself when it attacks or is detected, and can't renew itself until in leaves the gravity well? Not ideal for defending, but until they listen to the petition I think its a fair way to do it. You still get a surprise attack and your opponent
Even if IC doesn't want to add it in game, if at all possible I say make it a mod option. -GOAFAN77

Fleet wise, in the original and with entrenchment, the advent are all about shields and using their ships (especially caps) to support each other to make the group far stronger than the sum of its parts. In the civilian tree, its all about culture. In entrenchment, a lot of these same factors apply. Advent defensive structures can be upgraded to support each other, as the hanger will give a layer of shields to nearby structures, and beam turrents grouped together get an
Success! Thanks Harpo! However, not in the exact way you mentioned because I have another Mod I like using (Mad Scientist's Mod) and when combining the 2 I got a mini dump, or it failed to function. So, I scrapped what I was doing and altered the other Mod (modded the Mod?) and was able to set each of the SB's to their max possible slots. 17 for Argonev, 19 for Orkullus (sp?) and 20 for the Trancendia. <br
There is quite a few posts on that topic, but in short it seems to be that resurection takes the highest level of Your capital ships lost, no matter where it was destroyed. So did you lose a level 6 cap ship anywhere?
The position of the Z axis in sins in completely random. However, to prevent potential overlap, solar sytems have their own "shelf" he called it, that all of the planets fit on. In turn the planets vary their position on the Z axis in this "shelf" at random. If you play this map enough times, you"ll probably notice the distance of the phase lanes connecting the two galaxies will vary, and maybe even switch positions. You can see this effect on any map with multiple starts even if there are no

The main benifit of the pause button is that you can issue orders. But you're not alone, it took me months to figure out the pause button actually pauses the game.

The tartan patrol craft (at least in Empire at War) is the empire's anti-fighter frigate, but here it is a scout.A suggestion is to bring back the corellian scout, use it as a scout, bring the corellian corvette back as the basic light frig and replace the lancer with the tartan. Second the Carrack gunship's along with the dreadnaught's engines don't seem to fit the starwars universe.
