To answer your second question first - BDS2006 was what I uninstalled and re-installed. Windowblinds 5.00 build 56 is my WB build. WB 5 Crashes Borland Developer Studio 2006 on Startup in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Can you guys test out (or help me test out) what might be causing Borland Developer Studio 2006 to crash on startup when WindowBlinds is running and it's not excluded using Application Exceptions? I'm looking at the link you sent. In the meantime, can you tell me what version of Delphi was last used to compile StarDock Central? Delphi 7? It's important because if I'm going to go into the VCL source code and try to figure out how the painting may or may not be working 'standard' then I might be able to help supply the 'fix'. Can WB5 do a Gradient title that's still 'glass'? It really needs it. in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I totally love the 'glass' effect of titlebars of windows. The only problem is, the cooler and more transparent the glass effect, the more screwed up windows captions get because you can see all the text layers piled one on top of the other, so three windows in approximately the same x,y coordinates mess up one another's text readability quite badly. if WB5 could start more opaque (or darker) for a less transparent effect, on one side, and

Why do Delphi-written applications not skin right in menus. in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

As a longtime Delphi developer as well as a WindowBlinds customer, I'm wondering why it is that I can always tell which applications were written in Delphi because the WindowBlinds + ClearType combination messes up menus. If you wish to see screenshots, let me know. A good example is easy to make.
