Grakul/Graham, Can you see a couple of units standing near a black spot? That's a cave, and that's where the survivor fled. Attack it an'd win and he'll come out, then do what he says. The cave is northwest and in the mountains from the first tracks that you can see on the screenshot above.

Well if it wouldn't be a problem against humans all I can say is: let's try it out & the AI is REALLY bad if you're right about that one. Seriously, 4 vigilant minions dominate everything so hard you can just run to everyone's capital and totally destroy whatever they have. And about stacks of 12 peasants: it will take a lot of research and a lot of turns till you have your first one, by that time I'm sure I have overrun you. Maybe if you throw everything on warresearch?
I totally agree, i did mention it before, here: https://forums.elementalgame.com/393134 First (second post) about the demons, then in the last post until now I had discovered those summons had it as well. It's totally crazy as I calculated there.
I am using windows internet explorer. It's not about refreshing... I revisited, refreshed etc a lot, and it still took minutes.
Awww nobody knows?
yes they get him
No it's some kind of lag. I post a thread and have to wait for like 10 minutes to be able to see my own thread appear. It did appear eventually. As did this one. It's really strange indeed, never ever seen it before on a forum.
Just make a female sovereign and marry Janusk (yeah I know: EEWK!, but... it's for the people and the land my dear sovereign), he usually has high int, which is basically all that matters to me.
WHAT? I really really really dislike the name Janusk, it used to be Eldmyre?! Now THAT's a name for a councilor/scribe! Who in the Hell changed that?! I am going to edit it back right now! Thanks guys!!
Maybe they could make the shortbow available at the first army tech? That way both armies have to move forward or they're sitting ducks for arrows. It's not as if the bow was invented later then the sword anyway, historically it's right up there with the club and long pointy stick.
Archers in general were not as effective as it would seem from video games. Archery worked by release as many arrows towards the enemy and hope for hits. Archers
yeah that might be true... Well, you are still limited by costs and researched equipment of course. What i miss most now in the unit editor is a face/hair/gender option. I now basically have to click 10 times to get a unit that looks alright. But I still really like it though. I don't think it will be a big problem balance-wise. in fact, it may solve the entire problem forever, since everyone (I am talking PvP here) can make the same, and the their own, units! (omg pv
Yeah I have been annoyed with that... Many continents or islands come up with 'single continent'. I tried like 30 times and not a single time there was a single large continent.
Been using that, and it was not where it said it was... I guess it takes up till 10 minutes to materialize? Because it also happened with THAT thread, so it's nothing to do with changing the threadtitle, it's just the forum takes LONG to create a thread? Posts appear instantly...
WRONG: As the title says... i posted a thread, then edited the title since the title was worded inaccurately, and now I cannot see it in the subforum i posted it in. Nor under 'recent posts'. it's just gone! EDIT: I was wrong, had nothing to do with threadtitle! It's just any new thread created takes up to 10 minutes to appear in the subforum you created it in. Lag?
Test: is this forum just very laggy (? yeah i know... laggy forums :o ?) or is this thread posted in nowhere...?
Sorry if this handled somewhere already, but I couldn't find it on my searchterms. I am making a map for a campaign, but I want to make a city, with buildings, controlled by an AI, right next to where I want my sovereign to start. I want it upgraded, to a point. I want to be able to customize what buildings it has, and don't want to create all the buildings myself with that editor. Can't I just put a city somewhere? I must be missing something very obvious... Any help is
This is awesome! well done!
Been trying too, honest, but the map editaor made me repeatedly CTD, and wasn't that straightforward to figure out (man I just gave up completely till i heard yesterday that with the + and - keys you can change the amount of gridtiles to influence at the same time. I tried with just one but i went crazy. on a medium map, even). Also, reasons it's not here now is, among other things, that i cannot seem to be able to place cities... like everyone has after about 25 turns. My map and my
okay it's even worse... apparently there is a summon, he's called 'spy' for some reason, and he has that same ability (arcane doom). He starts with 5 mana, but just build a essence thingy and hey presto, 6 mana, 2 arcane dooms right at the start of combat = WIN. I had 4 of them summoned, that makes for 40 unblockable damage to each enemy unit, and then another 40 if the enemy isn't a spellcaster/incredibly lucky archer-lover (those monsters have around 22 hp). In that early a stage in the gam
Glad it was okayish for now :) Well I think there will come some awesome mods... I might even make that project that has been in my head since day 1 (or 0).
Yeah I have been thinking about reinstalling Age of Wonders:Shadow Magic for weeks now... might just do it today. Only reason not to is it's TOO good, and will take up time, and make me cry and howl in the night for AoW 3... The moddability of this game is fun however, and I already have a mod idea I will work on also today hopefully.
So, how was you first gaming experience? I am curious ^^
Granted and I hate that it's basically required to make champions anything but really sucky cannon fodder. Without massively abusive overuse of rings, amulets and packs all but a heavily min-maxed melee sovereign is in big trouble later in the game. Ya know, when you can easily be hit for 100+ damage by wandering packs of jerks.
Seen a LOT of posts like this up till now and want to respond: Why do you use y
Yup buy it, I enjoy it a lot... I could answer more elaborately OR I could just say I totally agree with Eidolon94 (reply 10).
This is really awesome... *unbelief*
