yes I know this I logged in but not ALL of my downloads are there. The ones on the order history in particualr and there are no links to them either. I remember doing something at gamestop but they screwed up all my downloads now I can't get access to them at all.
Hello, How do I retrieve ALL my software and games downloads, including the ones on 'my downloads' page and 'order history'?

I did a couple more things... - Reinstalled Impulse, no effect - There are no other programs (as far as I know) that cause this error, in other words I tried installing another application/game and that worked fine and I did not recieve the 'error retrieving data' problem.

This almost sounds like he is soliciting to GET a free serial number. I have NEVER had this happen before because I actually buy all my software from stardock. It looks like he just installed Impulse and made a new account and hasn't bought a product so he comes here to complain about getting a new serial, which he was never entitled to in the first place. If you have a VALID issue, asking in the forums isn't the way to go, you send an email to support and then wait for their reply. M
Just what the title says exactly. I uninstalled it assuming that would fix the problem of updating, but it didn't. Only error message is: Error retrieving data. That's it and nothing else. I already tried resetting the cache data to force an inpulse update, nothing. Rebooted and that didn't work either. I don't know what else it could be other than a server problem on your end. actually it was a docklet, i think the weather one. It works fine now with no crashes at all today.

Hmmm, seems an uninstall and a re-install did the trick. Maybe it will work for some of you having the same or similiar issue.
The title says it all. I can't explain what's going on but the last few days it's been doing this. I have NEVER had a problem with Stardock or Paypal before. Usually entering your email addy into that 'retrieve your serial number/ account box' does the trick AND provided that it didn't get blocked by your email host. I have had that happen before which is a pain in the neck sometimes, therefore having 2 or more email addresses is a good thing. You would have to have 2 separate serial keys to play a 2 player LAN game. If you only have one serial then you can only use the game on 1 computer at a time. This is usually how it works for *most* games anyway.

Is the Collector's Edition the same as the DD version through Impulse or are they completely different? After experimenting a little I got it to install and run with no credits to Stardock support. I had it up and running before they even had a chance to reply on my support ticket. I first uninstalled Impulse. Then I had to manually go through my entire windows registry and delete each individual key related to Impulse, Stardock, and Demigod. Deleted any remaining folders that had anything to do with Impulse. I left the game folders intact since they really didn't cause
I have no idea what to tell stardock support. The new beta that came out yesterday also doesn't install properly either. I can download it, install it then it just shows up as available to install again (i.e. after install it shows up NOT being installed at all.) I have uninstalled and reinstalled impulse serveral times and still nothing will fix the problem. It appears to be only with demigod and no other games. I'll contact them but I doubt they can help me out.
reinstalled again after completely uninstalling and removing the Demigod folder in C:\Program Files\Stardock Games in safe mode. Big mistake at first, got the BSOD on reboot :/ Used a previous config and rebooted fine. I'm going to try a little experiment then get back to you with my results. the demigod folder being locked as read only has got my curiousity peaked. I recently had to uninstall and reinstall Demigod now the 2.7gig it is suppose to be is only 1.7 and the game executables are missing or corrupted? I suppose now after only getting to play the game 3 or 4 times I will have to wait till the retail release comes out. Since when does 1.7 gig download = 2.7 gig game size. Hmm, well if you get a chance I looked further into the Comodo Firewall incompatibility. I don't know if it's a problem with the firewall itself or something in demigod's coding. 1) If you can reinstall Comodo Firewall with the default settings. 2) After it's installed make sure it is up to date as far as the version is concerned. 3) Right click on the Comodo Firewall icon in the system tray and disable BOTH Firewall Security and Defense + Security level. 4) Th

check to insure that you DON'T have Windows Firewall running along side Comodo Firewall (that is if you reinstalled). Having 2 firewalls running at the same time, although won't hurt anything, just compounds problems if your trying to figure out which one is blocking a program from firing up.
