The only legal way to get the updates is through Impulse. after v1.05, that is. what problem are you having w/ steam? not enuf bandwidth or not enuf time available? Do you know anyone trustworthy back in the States? If so, you can send them your info - CD key, etc. - have them update the game, burn it to a disc/flash drive, and then mail it back. this would take a while, though.
I have my reasons.
so people should trust you? "here, put this on." "why?" "I have my reasons." "okay" "now walk into that building over there and push this button" "why?" "You'll get 72 virgins." "How do you know?" "I have my reasons" "okay" *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
kee-chow
another way to remove the UI is to go to options, turn off "show fleets" and "always show fleets", then unpin all the planets and ships. this may take a while, but it really is worth it. to unpin, select something (or somethings) that is (or are) pinned, then hit the "pin" button.
This thread is pointless and immature.
what are you talking about? This is just something we choose to do, because it's fun. we make up stories, and that's it. it's not like we are insulting anyone, so how is this immature?
So, why doesn't Tex trust you?
Here is an ungodly creepy quote if you know what they are talking about: Mattie Webber : How long have you been watching this? Dexter McCarthy : No, I think the question is, is how long have they been watching me.

By the way: Vasari defeat all in the end!!!!!!!!!! never once has my Vasari Empire lost a battle. tactically withdrew from some planets, yes, but always retook them. The Vasari Empire is an unstoppable force! and the TEC and Advent are no immovable objects! No paradox neccessary! Edoc'sil has only been destroyed once, but only while Leader was upon his throne called the computer chair. because Leader forgot to hit the pause button.
who knows. that may end up happening in the game.
soooooo... anyone else feel like saying something?
Hmm... so this is what would have happened... End simulation. *Orodum appears back in Korigul command chair* Tell the techies that they are probably going to have to rethink the weapon. ensure that it doesn't affect stars. Yes, Admiral.
This happens because two or more ships have the highest level. whichever ship that is highest in your empire's fleet is termed the flagship. edit: nevermind, didn't see the post above
it gives creww counts in the book, so you can add up all the ships destroyed's crews as well as population killed
bow-chicka-bow-wow
I only really play Vasari, and these are mine: Evacuator(my first, usually only make two): Massau, Edoc'sil Devastator: Hate, Wrath, Vengeance, Revenge, Anger, Contempt Desolator: Patton, Attila, Ghengis Marauder: Wraith, Phantom, Specter, Shadow Carrier: Devious, and Valiance. Oh, and whatever my last cap ship is, is named: Titanic
Meesa like this mod.
What about "Jedi Master Jar Jar"?
Dix: "I've got good news and bad news, boys. good news is the Pols are pushing back the Germans, as are the British and Canadians. Kraut is falling back to Chambois, hard. " Guzzo: "What's the bad news?" Dix:"Chambois... is where we're goin' next."
(sorry, guys. a ship manned by those who don't have corporeal bodies doesn't exactly fall ill. and there's the molecular assemblers :) ) *Korigul jums back to previous system, and begins moving across the planet* Any survivors? None detected as of yet... Wait, I'm reading a large number of life signs on the planet. correction: within the planet. it seems some were undergroud and were rad-shielded. Send a cou
Cortana : They let me pick. Did I ever tell you that? Choose whichever Spartan I wanted. You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be. Like the others, you were strong and swift and brave. A natural leader. But you had something they didn't, something else no one saw but me. Can you guess? ... Luck. .....was I wrong?
Prepare experimental weapons systems... fire! weapon fired sir. reaction triggered in 3...2...1... now. sir, the system's sun just went dark. uh-oh. I'd suggest sending a courier ship to the inhabited planet. now. yes, sir. ship dispatched. Counselor Udina is aboard. good. begin scanning the star, see if we can restart it. yes, sir. ... ... sir, we have twenty seconds before the star
if you hit "jump as a group", they will wait to jump. then all of your ships go at once. Fleets suffer fewer casualties in general, provide a quick button to select a number of ships, give them a formation (tho this is quickly abandoned), and allow for advanced tactics like setting how far apart you allow the ships within to move.
oooooook....... feel like explaining? I didn't really get anything out of that last block. "My friend, you are F*cked ." -bioshock
got kanraks? if so, then i assume that you've researched discharging missiles. it's the AOE effect of that ability
