I am not sure either, but I thought that if you concede within the first x minutes, you simply get no favor points at all (you as the one who conceded) and that the game always counts?

And in Singleplayer everything works as expected for me.

Then it would be murder (not Mordor).
rofl :D. Of all the posts here in this thread, I find this one the most epic ;)

This is still not fixed. However I discovered additional behaviors: When you host a game and your last game was Fortress and you click Restore Defaults, it will work and set the game back to Conquest and default settings. When you then change it to Fortress again and then try to Restore Defaults, it will not work.
-> or is "3200" the number of people with launched Impulse ????
This is probably the case. Every player who is logged into Impulse and has Demigod registered in their account will be counted. Nothing wrong with that, since many of those people just join the demigod chat or use the Impulse game browser to join games. So the stats are not "wrong". Maybe they should just add a "players in game" (meaning all players that have launched Demigod and a

I think many people blow it out of proportion because nowadays we have two extremes: either games with no DRM, like Supreme Commander, Demigod, Sins and also any games on Steam for example (not counting Steam itself as DRM here ;))... and then there is the other extreme, games with intrusive DRM like in Anno 1404, newer SecuROM versions, Starforce (though is Starforce even used anymore?) etc. So naturally people could get outraged about intrusive DRM, because they know that there are
The game puts an AI when someone who is matched leaves. For example, Pantheon finds a game for 4 players. One player leaves (cancels) while it's establishing connections, and then he's replaced by AI. The game does not randomly insert AIs anymore, there was a huge outcry about that in the beginning and they took it out. If anything, people are avoiding Pantheon because 2v2s on Crucible is starting to wear a bit thin..
Yeah, it's pretty rediculous. One could say that so many AI games happen, because not that many players are participating in Pantheon. However, I would say that many people are simply avoiding Pantheon, since so many AI games happen. Please... Stardock... or GPG... leave the AI out of Pantheon or at least implement the /noAI switch!

As far as I know, it's not working. I use it too, but I am constantly getting into games with AIs right from the start (not because of player drops).

I can't believe they screwed up this game like that. The game itself is great, it received great reviews and certainly lives up to it's predecessors (well, not counting Anno 1503). But dear god, the DRM protection! And not only that, they did not include Multiplayer ... how in the world could they let this happen? I wonder if the devs of Anno 1404 have any knowledge of the history of Anno at all. Don't they know about the Anno 1503 incident? Not includin
Does anyone know why the chose P2P rather than client/server?
Demigod runs in a synchronized environment. This makes cheating hard and ensures that the state of the game is exactly the same on each machine. And the p2p solution is the fastest way for this kind of environment. If it would be client-server then there would either be no certainty whether or not the client states are the same at each point in time or it would lag

The new chat windows is better than the old one, since you can read the text more easily now and notice chat messages pretty much every time now. However, it still needs tweaking, i.e. less obtrusive and color coding of allied and public chat messages.
Or, maybe, allow dropping items only witin the radius of a healing crystal. This will also make such an exploit useless.
That is far too artificial and removes a team work element from the game, since your teammate would not be able to drop a health potion out in the field then, to help you out when death is imminent.
To be fair I don't see why it's not just made that when you buy an item with +mana pool, it doesn't automatically give you the mana. Since all shops (aside from artifact ones, boohoo) are right beside a regen crystal I don't see it as being much of a problem.
Well the artefact shop is a problem, since you get items there with much greater mana and health increases than in the item shop. I don't think anyone would want to not</
