If it's your first Steam game and don't have an account (as it was for me with Portal) You have to download Steam and create your account, etc, which with a bad internet connection takes forever.
The Steam client only has 1.551 KiB.
Well there's the fact that the boxed version of Steam games still make you install Steam, which totally kills my primary motivation in getting boxed copies. I played two or three games with him. He was not that good and the problem was not me or the other teammate, at least not always. He's also rather rude.

In the most recent video blog (linked above, but here it is again http://gaspowered.com/kingsandcastles/video-blog-15/), Cris Taylor said K&C will be using Steam for their DRM. While he never explicitly said whether it will be using Steamworks, or just be distributed on Steam, I think it can probably be safely assumed based off o

I'll have stats, items, times to look, everything, let me get it all together and come up with some details. If I'm wrong and it is proven completely I will retract my stance. I want to keep the same open mind I ask others to have so I am open to being wrong. Thank for your at least being open to this Pacov, I appreciate it greatly. And again, I ask any othe
Spooky, i made sure i forwarded the exact same ports that NoooOoooOOOooOO had forwarded to see if there was an issue. We just wanted to match them up. I don't know why some of them were opened lol.
Well, it doesn't matter which ports he forwarded. You simply have to forward the ports, that are defined with ImpulseReactiorOptions.exe. By default they are in the 6100 to 6200 range (I don't remember the exact default values). Also forwarding port 6073 (the default hosting

But hard mode is too hard even for me.
There is nothing to "fix" here. You just have to try harder ;).
