Oh, the skin I was using said it was made for XP and Vista.

Okay, thanks, I should be able to edit it with the free version of skin studio?
Well, I just upgraded from XP to Vista and I love Vista so far, and Windowblinds goes along nicely with it. But there is one small issue that is annoying me. The quicklaunch icons are offset to be aligned very close to the top of the task bar. Anyone else experience this? Any way to fix it? I tried a couple of skins so I don't think it's just limited to the one that I'm using.
Yeah I'm on xp...there's no way to force the menus to be skinned?
Nope, objectdock worked just fine. Well..the dock had trouble deciding it should be ontop of other windows, I don't know what causes that, either.
Is there any reason why windowblinds doesn't skin the menus in firefox? Any way to force it to through the program? I tried under change the look of an app, but that didn't have any affect. Thanks for any help in advance.
I found a solution...though I wouldn't exactly call it a fix becacuse you shouldn't have to limit functionality to fix a problem. The fix is easy enough: check the 'Never use per pixel borders on a skin.' option in the system info screen.
Well it only happens for me in CS4 with gpu acceleration on. I've never had such an issue with CS3. My computer is giving me attitude and playing games with me. Today the "fix" works. [e digicons]
Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I suspected I would have to do, but I thought if there was a way to adjust it in an ini file or through the program itself it would be easier.
Is it possible to change the offset of the running app indicator? If so how? Because how it is for me now it just looks off, instead of being directly ontop of the icon I want it to be lower..or in this case higher than the actual icon just a tad bit. Thanks for any help in advance!
It could that the skin that you are trying to apply is for windows xp only? I'm not a pro with this program at all, but that's my best guess.
Sadly, I have to take back what I said about it working. :( For whatever reason it was fine last night after you suggested it, but today the same thing is happening again. Edit: I think it probably has something to do with both of the programs/interfaces interacting with the gpu and not playing nicely together. At least I thought that windowblinds now makes use of the gpu too?
That seems to work! [e digicons]:D[/e] Well either that or setting WB to exclude Photoshop from skinning. Either way it seems to be fixed. Thanks for the reply!
I downloaded the trial of photoshop cs4 to play with, and was trying to test out it's gpu acceleration. But with this feature on in Photoshop, the window borders of windows that are behind the Photoshop window sort of bleed throughwhen I right click. It doesn't do this when I set windowblinds to use the windows classic skin. I don't know if this issue has been talked about, or if anyone else has experienced it, a search did not pull up any results... not even sure if i should be
