Well I'm not exactly sure how the game's lore goes, but I think the initial cost of the ship includes the lifetime support costs to simplify things. If this is true, that is where the added costs come from. It is true that things typically get cheaper the more you make, but things become more expensive to manage the more you have. For something that requires support, like a ship or an infantry unit, it becomes more expensive to have more of that unit. The initial cost reduction

There is a very simple and elegant way to solve spam and it's called upkeep costs. This can be done in several ways but the one that takes up least resources is to increase the cost of a unit the more you have of it. So if you have no LRF's and you buy one it will cost ie. 300 credits. Then if you have 1 LRF the next one will cost ie. 310 credits for a total of 610 credits. To buy a 3rd LRF would cost 320 credits for a total of 930 credits. When you've reached 20 LRF's the cost to benefit rat

We could add a penalty under fire. The penalty being 10% reduction in damage output. This way if someone is focus firing on say a capital ship, that capital ship will do 10% less damage but the

I'd like to see caps reduced in cost and have them cost resources to level up. Right now they are far to expensive for their return in the short term and then once at level 10 are more worth their value. It'd be better to have them reduced in cost by about 30% and then have that made up by paying to level them up. More as an upgrade. The great thing about caps is that you can make them as cheap as you want and they can never be spammed (cap is so low). Also, caps would

Yeah it could very well be. What I did was press alt while it leveled up and saw no change. If you have say a ship going into the range of the Akkan's range increase skill then you see the range ring jump right away. It's very noticeable so I figured the same effect would happen when the station upgrades. I saw no change though. I also looked at the grids and ( by pressing alt and seeing where the ring touches the grid) waited until the upgrade was done and it didn't change from what

Hello All, As I was playing today I upgraded the weapons on the TEC starbase and noticed no difference in the range when pressing "ALT". I thought maybe the missile range (Extreme range) isn't shown and so I watched as enemies passed just oustide the range ring of the starbase but saw no damage dealt. Can anyone explain what is going on? Did the range actually change and I didn't pick up on it? Is this a bug? Merci!

But let's go to a deeper, philosophic state of the issue; why should people be denied something that doesn't cost anyone anything to supply them? Rather than trying to look at it from a moral standpoint, maybe you should look at it from a causal one. If people do not have to pay for digital things, then digital things have no worth. If digital thi

Can anyone give an explanation how to use it and work around the compatibility issues? Does anyone know how to get in contact with Cybdevil? It would make things a lot easier just using his work if he's willing. There could be some neat strategic changes we could implement with planets like this!
