I don't like the new cloud- I didn't see the word bear in there anywhere!
One of the things that is central to the argument is whether or not we want to have the caravans as a physical entity on the game board. The benefit from a strategy sense is that now I have something to attack to hurt my opponent's economy, but having all those individual caravans is causing a lot of micromanagement. So maybe a suggestion might be to back off from having caravans as physical entities. How about this: <
Check out this thread which mentions this suggestion and several others as well: https://forums.elementalgame.com/345231
Its not the same, you just suggest floaty things, my post suggests how to implement a floaty thing
Imo the most important thing is that the system scales and preforms well while being interesting camp 2 is too simple and boring camp 1 has the potential to have micromanagement issues camp 3 needs to have good A.I. to work out what you wanna do
soz but Zubaz did ask for it
1. to create a floating city you must learn/research the "Buoyant Earth" spell 2. pick a city to cast it on. 3. the cost of the spell rises exponentially (something the people helping the demigod team should get) with the city size. It should cost both mana and essence 4. Its should also cost mana to both maintain the cities place and to move the city. 5. If the Channeler can not or chooses not maintain the city or the spell is negated, the city will cras

option 3 does sound good, It seems with that you don't have to focus on the economy if you don't want, while giving you the option to be a min-maxing facist
I don't really have time right now but this is how i feel resources should be broken done catagory wise non-refine natural resources resources that you don't need to do anything to use - like horse refine natural resources resources that you need to refine to do stuff to - like iron usable refined resources refined resources you can use - like swords which needs (copper and tin) or (iron) etc to make<

To be honest I like camp 1, It remind somewhat of the good settler games (2,3 and 4ish) I would love to see the same sort of system again where it was initially complex to set up, but once it was up and running you rarely had to look at until there was a change in conditions. Its the perfect example of an elegant sophisticated economic system. You could go on raids in that too to steal stuff. That being said I would go with system one during the beta and then ajust the
I agree, there must be something more going on here ... wait he was on the grassy knoll it all makes sense
Yes, we all know about your spelling problems ....
I just suddenly realised that Zubaz's disability in this area means that he can't play Elemental - Its all about spells Also instead of dogs to keep the Zubaz on their toes I think we should use bears instead
I think free-range is best. After all, we want him to develop more meat for the jerky, not fat from lounging around in a cage. For extra effect, we can set some angry dogs loose in the range so he gets some much needed exercise. As for the trap? That's easy. Instead of using bait, we just use a repellant. We know he won't go anywhere near a dictionary or spell checker, so we just line them up to make sure our fenced range is the only e
Well, obviously we'd have to make more Zubaz. We'd just have to be really careful to not over-saturate the market.
I thoughty we were going for mass market appeal.
Indeed we are. But we don't need tons of it to have it be popular. It can be popular *and* expensive. Easier for us, and more cash too! It's like lobster, only 100 times rarer and a bit less buttery.
</blockquot

then how can we drive the Zubaz Jerky brand across the universe and get into everyone's homes if we don't have enough Zubaz. I thoughty we were going for mass market appeal. ................................................... With Dancing Zubaz Ads
maybe, but I have my doubts on the economic viability of obtaining large quantities of Zubaz
time-travel In the future we will build a machine that can take us back to the past. Trying to settle the endles debate of is god real we will mostly go and see. In the end probably find out that not only there is no God but it was a bunch of time travellers messing with people. Imo religion is way more trouble than its worth and most of the time is used a scapegoat for violent and unlogical actions That being said its more of an issue with religion than
