This is just a suggestion for future chapters. I think you should make Kol a less experienced. For example, you made it like Kol knew exactly what he was doing. You should make it where only bits and pieces of the jackals memory and skills are in him, where instead of knowing how to fly the fighter, he should have the basic idea of it and understand one thing completely while something else he doesn't understand at all, such as the navigation system.(hint) Just bits and pieces of the jackal's

Favorite is definitely the Halycon carrier. Carries hordes of fighters, looks elegant and graceful, fleet support, and can push away all those pesky little mosquitos that nip at your fleet. Radiance is a close second, being the halycon'c best guardian in times of trouble

I got bored playing today and was playing around with various upgrades for my Advent starbases, and then I suddenly wondered what the origins of them were. Sins doesn't have an explanation for them, and heres a few reasons why it seems a little strange to me. 1. The TEC had not worked on military grade technology before their little war with the vassari, so I am wondering where their starbase idea came from. I am guesing that they came up with a strategy of placing gauss defence

I always hated the swarms, even when I used the strategy myself. Always a pain in the ass to fight off, and they just take the fun out of a fight if you watch your most powerful units get taken down by the pathetic things

I have something to say. I really hate to point it out and please don't think of me as a someone that looks for mistakes, but when you mentioned enemey phase signatures detected noeth and south of our position, you were wrong, at least I think you were. They are in space, and north and south are based on a planets magnetic field, and since they are obviously not on a planet, you were in space, therefore the words north and south were meaningless. One other thing, and I really hate to say it.
seems everyone wants pirates to be able to pull some godly desperate last trick out of their sleeves. they are scum of the galaxy. they use salvaged ships. they do not have any kind of non-monetary backing from any nation.
Okay, just got to say one thing. Many times pirates have weapons that are better than the ones the goverment might be using. They steal everything they get, and many times what they get is good quality. It just varies on how good they

The only other thing I think pirates should have is some kind of capital ship, probably a salvaged Kol. The Kol should be modified in someway, such as looking slightly damaged and instead of having the frontal lasers on it, have something that fires a huge slug at enemey ships, such as a mass accelerator cannon(the mac gun from Halo.) Should give massive damage to enemey ships. Also, to make it more interesting, take away a good chunk of its armor away but also make it much faster than any TE

I had suspected something, but wasn't quite sure. And when I said I wondered how Kol had started his career, I looked at it as the begining of another person, because when you lose your memories, sometimes they don't come back and a whole new mentality is formed

My opinion is that both are good for different situations, as everybody mentioned above. But I have a slightly different oulook on them. I build mostly fighter squadrons, with three fighter squadrons to every bomber squad. I think this is better because I favor close ship combat and I like the fighters to clear the way for the the rest of my fleet.

I won't talk about shield mitogation because I'm clueless about but I will tell you two or three things 1. The fleets were similar and everything, and the Advent definitely got an afvantage in carriers because each squad has more fighters or bombers in it. 2. Their carriers(Capitalship Carrier and cruiser carriers) probably outclassed yours. Essentialy, they had you owned when it came to carriers and fighter/bomber squadrons

Hello new player!!! And now back to the topic everyone has been talking about, Stardocks darkside. 1. I wonder if they are planning on taking over the world like Bungie is. 2. If they managed to get me to their side, it must mean they really are evil. 3. It is my opinion that the movies where the good hero wins is overated and would never happen in actuality. The darkside would win and crush the people on the side of light. 4. I am not compl

I guess this might be a little known quote but here it goes "Your all going to die down here" The Red Queen says in the first Resident Evil movie when the comando team shuts her down and inadvertently unlocks the doors she was guarding and releases hundreds of zombies and some type of mutated creature. Pretty good movie, all in all. I also wish my lawn was emo

Well, I would have to say its the Advent Progenitor class capital ship. It has saved my fleet life more than a few times in any of the many engagements I've had. Favorite cruiser, I think would have to be the iconus guardian. Combine these with a few Progentitors and you have an incredible survival rate Favorite frigate, would be the Advent scout. Mostly, because I can build a lot of them at the last second and use the matry ability. It alows me to take out key s
