If you seriously think people would, enmass, pay 5 dollars for 1 Demigod, you are living in la-la land. Release 10 new demigods and people would spend as much money as a brand new game? Open your eyes, no way people would spend that much for just new characters. Especially when the game is plagued with bugs and missing features. (HoN has a reconnect feature if you crash or get dropped, Demigod doesn't. HoN also doesn't lag miserably when one person in the game has a laggy connection or a slow

ZERO. If you think that 8 demigods is enough for a game as repetitive as this and feel the need to charge money for more demigods, then I feel the need to tell everyone to wait for Heroes of Newerth and never buy a Stardock game again. NEXT THREAD.
Patch not ready for download yet?
Ai reg would have just fed the enemy gold and you would get rolled even harder.
I've noticed other players having a midgame crash and one user mentioned it happens during times when the player is clicking a lot. I have had this problem but for me it seems to happen only as the Queen of Thorns. As the other Demigods, I have never encountered a random crash. I just crashed about 3 min ago out of a game where I clicked 3 times in roughly the same area (not the exact same point) in less than a second and the game crashed. Wish there was more I could te
This reminds me of a game I played a few days ago where the Regulus on our team had the biggest hardon for getting giants. At warscore 9 he sat next to our citadel and waited for Warscore 10 to buy giants. By the time he bought giants, he was 3 levels below the lowest DG on the enemy team and his items were probably the basic ones he got at the beginning. Lost the game since it was 2 vs 3 for the longest time and even though he bought giants, the enemy had a higher warscore than u
HP / armor stacking is fine. The reason most people do it is because it increases survivability which means less chance of a burst damage kill. A better way to counter it would be to, instead of nerfing HP items, buff damage items of equivalent level. Make the math work so that a person who spends 10k on hp items and 0 on damage items vs a person that spends 10k on damage items and 0 on hp items effectively cancel eachothers gear out. I think that is pretty much t
It's not as much of a question of how to deal with it, but rather how to prevent it. Once a DG has items of that caliber and you don't, it is game over. If you and your team does not feed them gold by dying a lot, then you won't have to deal with unkillable DG's. They will have the same gold as you which means equal gear.
Recently I prefer the 800 favor assassins poison dagger favor item. (Not sure if thats the correct name). That mixed with his slowing talent makes it impossible for people to escape, or even make it 10 feet to tower range. The only downside is that you need to be strong enough to make people run away, though it makes for seriously dangerous 2 v 1, 2 v 2 situations.
You can increase favor by 1000x but if the system doesn't even work, it won't matter. Start by fixing favor, please. Concede button is also a major improvement. I don't like to ragequit and I want everyone to get favor for the round but there is no reason I should have to sit through an obvious loss, especially when I will only get 10-35 favor points. From your list of things, those are the two main ones I can think of. I've made 3 pos
So you are saying that you released a multiplayer game that wasn't compatible with a very popular brand of network card/router? What kind of policy is that? Glad you guys aren't a car company.
Getting a game together still takes longer than the actual game. Great job!
I was totally following you with #1 and 2, but then your ideas went from "hey that sounds pretty neat" to "reading this will lower your IQ."
It should be labeled or changed to a different color for teammates so they don't accidentally use it and take damage.
This will probably get some flak but I will say it anyways. Since so many hosts boot people for having pings over 150 even though the game plays fine with pings up to 300, I think it would be better to represent pings with a Green, Yellow, Red icon. Maybe make Green 0-300, Yellow 301-450, and Red 451-* Doing so would cause hosts to boot less as they would only see a symbol showing that the connection will be smooth. Secondly
When a player quits, the connectivity window comes up at everyone must wait 30 seconds for the player that quit to be dropped before they can interact with the interface again. First make a player that quits be recognized by the game so that everyone doesn't wait for 30 seconds to continue the game when we all know they aren't coming back. Secondly, while the connectivity window is up, please allow us to press the Menu button so we ourselves can quit instead of waiting 3 minutes because
I had this problem once. I wish I could tell you what to do to fix it. My problem cleared up about 5 minutes after giving me the invalid username/password error.
