EMP here you come... When DPRK starts sending out SCBM (Space Capable Ballistic Missles) we can all cheer as those bloody, leechy pirates lives die out. I heard in China there is actually a military boot camp for those addicted to video games. Pirating is the most extreme obsession, after all, why do you need so many games!? But still, I will despise the concept of Impulse. Games shouldn't need this huge updater program. With a webstore built in (unless if you want t

[quote who="EadTaes" reply="2" id="2078757"]I would like too but think the carrier build penalty while enemy ships are it he grav well is turning alot fo them off and for good reason. A simple scout is enought to give 75% build penalty. I personaly think they shoudl take teh penalty off. or at teh very least make it so that it applies only to carriers that are currently taking fire from enemy ships. You do realize, as long as the DPRK exists, there is just another defensive shield around PRC? If the USA is tied down in South Korea (more likely, due to how quickly they are likely to be owned) or Taiwan (less likely, due to a wierd string of death around the world - la fayette), the more protected PRC is in actuality?

Well... North Korea probably already knows this, and despite everything, Kim is no dimwit (like someone...) and are laboring under the presumption of defeat. Any likely adding more clorine into their artiliary shells. Sounds to me like a sound arguement for just posting a few SSBN near the Socialist Workers' Paradise.

Well... How come Iran was there? I know it's wierd now... but the Iranian President in 2004 was VERY pro-US. Then Bush said something (probably a mistake) and he was really quickly out of power by the hardliners. Now we got this wierd guy with missles, nukes, and Kilo class subs.

Well, lets just agree on this: Firebombing may be bad (or worse, as some of you seem to say), but it took hundreds if not thousands of brave bombers to bomb Tokyo to the ground. It only took one (unassailed) bomber to reduce Hiroshima to rubble. Now, nukes are ALOT more power then they were in 1945... You wanna see what they mount in subs nowadays? There is no way we ever really would know what happens in Kim's government. Even when his regieme falls, few secrets will

[quote who="kryo" reply="16" id="2079768"]Unrelated anecdotes and suppositions aren't facts. And quite frankly, I've got better things to do than to remedy your ignorance of how the industry actually works. Feel free to take your "facts" to the Euro publishers sometime; you'll find their reponse fairly similar to my first take on your comments (which I removed and clarified because I figured someone would get "upset" over it... seems it wasn't worth the bother). Hi, It was named so because of marketing names. If it is called "Stardock Central," would you really believe it sells video games (until Sins of a Solar Empire, that is). Impulse sounds... impulsive? Games (finger twitch?). Besides, how many games DO run on linux (NOT counting WINE - good program, but still flawed (mostly because of OpenGL's own limitations) or virtual machines)? Impulse might of been just to push Windows only applications. Maybe Stardo

Hello, [quote who="CursedSpirit" reply="25" id="2079504"]wow your a cry baby mate. first off impluse is a great program that allows you to stay uptodate and current to what is going on with your games and allows you to give feedback its a very fast DL speed comparied to others out there and installs the program on its own what ele do you want. Mabey you should send in some feed back to get a Tech to come to your house hold your hand and teach you how to wipe your A** also. out of all

Stop the crap. It wouldn't of been too hard to put the actual updater IN the game itself. Adding an "optional" program for "nice features" (that are required for online play) and only really serves to sell stuff from Stardock anyways, open the door to this sort of piracy talk. IF the updater for the GAME was IN THE game itself, there would be absolutely NO reason for pirates to cry over how they cannot game Entrenchment over torrents or "stuff" like that. Because there
