Just want to say, as someone who was in the beta, connection was fine at beta 3 and beyond. There weren't that many people on, granted, but everything was working fine... until they released it. Also, I've been having the same issue of it rejecting my normal impulse name/PW off and on throughout the beta and now it doesn't work at all, although my brother's login for the same demigod cd key works fine.

Kyonu is right - The different demigods would be somewhat imbalanced. Some - Sedna, say, doesn't get an AoE ability until she is a very high level - even if she can tank a lot, the monsters would stack up until she died. Could be cool, but it'd need some balancing.
