Thanks. Just so it's clear, one of the install processes automatically installed both. I'm afraid I can't remember the sequence that caused that, but I uninstalled regular release Fences and installed 4 Alpha.
I also encountered this issue with the installation from ObjectDesktop. It only removed the Fences entry in Add/Remove Programs, but Fences 3 is still installed. <img src="https://i.imgur.com/O4KREtY.png"

I noticed that this version is now installed on the system drive, and I cannot install on another location. The previous version can be installed on another location and drive. Is there a limitation for the previous behavior that required this change?
I have tried turning Quick Hide on and off, it is still not working.
this the same as what I am experiencing, posted in the fences 3 beta thread.
I have a problem with fences 2.90. I am planning to install this. Is the high vram usage the main problem that I should look out for, in the beta?
Hi Gargabee, I have run the tool, and submitted the zip to support. Thanks.
I have a question with regards to deskscapes starting automatically when windows loads. Most of the time it doesn't start, so I have to go to Configure Deskscapes > choose my dream > Apply to Desktop. Under Services.msc, the startup type for "Stardock Deskscapes 8" is set to automatic. I have the following installed: Deskscapes 8 ver. 8.10 Fences 2 ver. 2.12 ModernMix ver. 1.12 Start8 ver. 1.31 Windowblinds
Modern skin is awesome!
I'm running a combo of win 8.1, deskscapes 8.09, fences 2.11, modermix 1.12, start8 1.30.1 Deskscapes does not start after windows has been loaded. If you right-click>configure deskscapes and select a dream, dekstop becomes black even after clicking "Apply to my desktop" button. I also converted my account from local to online, I don't know if its connected or not.
I have a question with regards to taskbar transparency. I'm using the Diamond style, and the system color is set to None. Is there a way where I can control the transparency of the taskbar to avoid this: The taskbar appears over the firefox add-on bar What I want to do is make the taskbar be as transparent as it did it like in windows 7.
Has this problem been posted? This happens to the system tray every time windows is restarted. If I changed to a different theme, the systray behaves how it should be, but when windows is restarted, that happens.
^^ fillup4 already provided the screenshot in that thread you posted. post #103
I hope you guys can fix the issue with firefox (default theme) and with its menu bar set to off.
