UPDATE!!!! The cause of the trouble has been located. Impulse wants to install everything to the C driveby default. If you try to place any applications anywhere else, Impulse will update all the files and kill the startup.exe link of the application in the existing location. My fix was to install all Stardock Applications on my C drive. Tech supportr says there is a way to change it but I had evertyhing moved and didn't want to bother reinstal

I tried to update again this morning and I still had to reinstall objectdock after updating it through impulse. It seems that impulse is deleting the program .exe file when it updates,
