I used to use Litestep and DTX together, then one day they ceased to cooperate. Since then I've become better at themeing so the need for DTX went away. I'd still recommend DTX to those who don't feel comfortable "getting their hands dirty" so to speak. Its a great app and I'd still be using it if Litestep hadn't come along. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Po

Toecutter, There are known problems with some systray modules (grdTray being one) and Win2000/XP. Some older themes using the older revs may need to be updated. Unfortunately I am a techno laggard (Win98 SE) so I am not familiar with all the ins and outs. Try emailing the authors of some of the themes with which you're having problems. They are usually more than willing to help.

IMHO OTS is an excellent structure for Litestep, I've used nothing else since I found it. It needn't be restricting and it certainly improves the odds of a theme working on anyones machine. And it doesn't prevent you from going "rogue" if you want to. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm
