I like a suggestion someone had about what to do with mist. The mist disables regeneration. Mana or health but probably not both. This adds a kind of limit to what you can do as far as hiding with mist to protect yourself from a near death situation, because they can camp you and there are limited ( but possible) escape options as your mana goes down constantly with your cooldowns.

It comes down to playing better. You die when you slip up. So it just follows logic that the next time you're going to have to not slip up to not die. And the difficult thing is you have to play *that* much better than the other guy to make up for lost time. but it's winnable. Take any fighting game tournament player. It could go either way every time. No matter how outmatched you seem to be there is nearly always a way. In Demigod, numerical superiority gives way to teamwork and effective us

Fire TB is fine in terms of damage, survivability is minimal in comparison to ice form which has stuns and slows. He should at least have a replacement for flame circle though. It's too easy to avoid. Also, a fire TB with any damaging combat hero is pretty intense. The fire aura makes the combat heroes extremely deadly and hard to avoid.

I agree with the Ice nova part, and the fire ring part. Both spells need tweaking. As for TB early game in general , however , his main downfall is that he cannot fight over flags. Simply let someone else do it. Permafrost aura is fine as is, the mana regen is comparable to switching to fire form and back. Nova picks up the slack for the slowing portion (it slows Demis 30% for 7 additional seconds after they are frozen). <

The new vision item would be useful if you could actually kill mines and wards X_X and if true sight is being implemented, then invisibility may as well be re-implemented as well...

I thought it should be viable to actually switch forms and use each effectively, especially because all the synergy went into the ice tree, whereas the fire tree is just a bunch of damage spells which in fact pale in comparison to all of the ice spells combined. To offset this lack of synergy, his animation for form change should take less time, have fireball buff subsequent casts for 10 secs etc. Also, currently you can switch both forms and gain both effects for a short time if you were awa

First and foremost, the netcode. Still I find myself in the plethora of people that have fallen through the cracks and have connection issues. Still haven't managed to join OR host a game. When hosting I get CVP errors. Secondly, is there a way to permanently store favor? I feel as though I've nearly maxed my favor it terms of total progress, but every time the game starts, I go back to 150 favor. Thirdly ... balance. New items need to have their costs redone. 100%

If only my grinding counted towards my score... for that failure to rise in rank, I will bide my time for beta3. Then the actual best player may be the #1. =)

It's actually very possible to play a less flexible, more stable version of Regulus. Sacrificing most levels of snipe for stats with the exception of one point to plant tracking bug (which is viable due to the snipe nerf) gives Regulus the needed health to survive in a clutch situation. Mind you 100 or so health per level of stats isn't a quick fix for being an idiot, but that extra hit or two might be all you need to get out of there, or survive long enough to kill your opponent. What we're

That forced playing is the reason that there is a genuine rank 1 in the first place. If rank 1 is worse than ranks 2-5 but gained rank 1 simply because of win%, then it doesn't seem fair that he is rank 1 in the first place. However, if he beats ranks 2-5 consistently, then it's a no brainer than he should be rank 1.

As 2D is, QoT and Reg have undergone serious changes and the gameplay for them has become limited. The popularity of Reg has at least waned to the point of some other Demis, which is somewhat of a step in the right direction but shouldn't be at the cost of the feel of playing Reg. Actually, I'm happy for the changes that UB has undergone, and the lack of survivability can be offset by items. Sedna and Oak are nearly fine as they are, with the exemption of Morale buf

I would like to see that as well. I have a server at the moment, but it's not mine. I may ask if it's possible for some of us to use it in the future. =)

I guess my ideas pretty much summarize what others have said: There are many uses for mines. I don't think the solution is just to nerf their damage. They do enough to clear waves. They prevent "easy" flag captures (then you can teleport in to whatever flag is mined after they take damage from the mines and they have little choice but to run or use a potion to stand a decent chance at capturing it, either of which they will have spent more money and time than you have) <b
