Tiles: Does anyone use this app? in OS Customization WinCustomize Forums

I was never able to figure out a good use for Tiles but thought I'd try it again. I would like to add a Tiles page that shows only the photos I have opened in the W10 photo app. Is there a way to do this? I don't see anything under customization that will allow me do create a Tile such as that.

I rebooted after my last post and discovered Windows was still installing stuff. That's why everything was so slow. At shutodown it said it was installing updates and maybe at restart as well, I've forgotten. It's faster now although still slower than before the upgrade.

Here's another example. After posting my comment I minimized the Chrome browser. Seevral minutes later and my desktop has yet to appear. No explorer, Start Menu, etc., but my hard drive light is flashing, sometimes pegged, indication Windows is up to something.

I installed 1903 last night and the new WB. So far no Stardock rendering issues but my whole PC is very sluggish. I thought the first clean reboot after the installl was slow because it was still doing some background work. Nope! Instead of a boot time of a minute or so it now takes 25 minutes to reach the desktop. Once there all functions appear significantly slower. My guess is some driver needs to be reinstalled but I have no idea which.

I found nexus.key, not ws.key, in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Winstep\Licenses. (Not under my user name) When I double-clicked on it I had to tell it which program to use to open it. I selected NexusUltimate.exe but there was no change. If I double-click on nexus.wsxkey in the documents folder it says thank you for registering the software but doesn't change the expiration date. I also tried renaming nexus.key to nexus.wsxkey but that didn't help.

Nexus Ultimate Renewal in OS Customization WinCustomize Forums

I renewed my subscription to Nexus Ultimate several days ago but it continues to nag me to renew. Plus, the expiration date in the app hasn't been updated. When this has happened in the past I had to obtain a new nexus.wskey file but have no memory of how to do that. Can anyone help?

Thanks. Chrome now skins but Firefox still won't skin. In Firefox, neither the main browser window nor pop windows are skinned. I misspoke earlier, the popup windows weren't skinned but at least they had min/max/close buttons. They've reappeared in the main window but still no skinning. Why do companies try to bypass the default OS settings so that users can customize them? Sigh!

Not skinning Chrome or Firefox in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Chrome will not skin at all. Oddly, popup windows in Firefox are skinned but not the man browser window. Doesn't matter which Wb I choose. This is my configuration: Windows 10 Enterprise (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804) WindowBlinds 10.74 (054 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS Window titlebar blur features are enabled on this operating system Wblind.dll 2018/11

On Windows 10 I have never successfully been able to rollback with system restore on any PC. It always says the restore failed no matter which restore point I try to use. And it always fails with "unspecified error". Really? The system restore software has no idea what it was doing when it failed? Looking for a file, copying a file, restoring the registry?
