Try selecting a planet zoomed out when you have a full economy going, all you get is a cargo/trade ship. Talk about frustrating...
thats another annoying one... why would the game think it is more important to select insignificant, uncontrollable trade/cargo ships, instead of a planet? i mean, when you click on a planet and a cargo/trade ship is about to arrive via phase space, the game selects the cargo ship, not the planet... kinda annoying. i

im curious, with the beta for diplomacy right around the corner (relatively speaking), and the fact that 7DS still isnt Entrenchment compatible, what does the Dev team intend to do about Diplomacy? im not trying to be a smart ass or anything, but as i cant play this mod without it being updated to Entrenchment 1.03, and the fact that if its taken THIS long to get it compatible with Entrenchment, whats going to happen when Diplomacy comes out and they will have to start all over a
It's defaulted on so camera snaps to the closest entity to your mouse cursor when you're zooming, you can turn it off so it doesn't auto-center on any unit.
WHERE?!?! its so annoying to zoom down to planet level to try and place a structure, and have the camera moving because he locked on to some damn cargo ship...
They didn't even think they'd have an actual live build to show off at all, and if you knew how many hours they worked to get it ready to show something at PAX.. hell, Blair hand-delivered the thing.
Im glad they are working and ive done some programming i realise how hard it is. im not talking abo
Feel free to start a "21 reasons why the world hates " thread
the world hates america because it is the 'popular kid at school' as it were. it usually comes down to jeaslousy, although in some cases its genuine hate as is stands, there isnt much to sasy about other countries because everyone is too focused on america. however, if you really like, i can line up a bunch about a few Middle Eastern, European, and Asian Countries if you like. <p
Sitting around with friends and swapping playful insults that are meant to be jokes
I remember Centurion used to promote MP by claiming the interaction between Humans (as opposed to Ai vs Humans) is much more interesting, quoting a game where an opponenet said to him :imagine a great big space penis coming up behind you.... well, its not entirely true, i was playing a Distant Stars map of our Solar System, and as it turned out, the planet Uranus became a frontli

okay, let me be a bit more specific first 1. the FF (firefigher) that goes back does in fact rescue another person with no problems like becoming trapped himself 2. i was not talking about the chief being the one outside on the hose or just outside in general, but rather, another random FF now, while i agree that there is risk that you get trapped yourself while trying to rescue another person if you dont, what sane person isnt going to call you a hero? thats what

But your free to let your mind wander here. you are welcome to jump in, but as Ue_Carbon said, its easier if you have entrenchment... Been entrenched in some pretty filthy habits over the years, but no thanks.... Thought I might be welcomed with open buttocks... wasn't the case.
Phasing out does NOT change the universe you are in!!!!!
ill put it simply: How do you know? For the same reason you said you could possibly run into a whole lot of dark matter, you could easily bypass the laws of physics.
For all we know, you might end up slamming into dark matter.
You were happy to play the "we don't know" card then, why not now? Simply put, you dont know, so stop trying to assert your opinions as fact.</
No need to thank me, Rez! Your opinion is as valid here as anyone elses, and the suggestion of violence towards you for voicing it was wrong and needed to be addressed. Violence should be deplored, and if more of us did, we'd have no need of 'heroes' with guns to protect us... our streets would be safer to walk. Furthermore, it needed to be pointed out, particularly with an attitude like that, how easy it can be to get on the wrong side of the law.
thankyou anyway, but

okay, i think i can voice my opinion now first off, im not talkin about what could have happened, or what did happen that shouldnt have etc. Honestly, i prefer the dead attacker to the dead hostage. All im saying, is that the term hero is thrown around too liberally... if i had a gun, and shot a rabid dog trying to attack me and my girlfriend walking in the street, am i a Hero? or if i had Special Forces training and a rifle, and shot some drunk trying to rob a shop or somethi
