Things now seem to be working properly! Not a problem. It is really kinda fun. It certainly snowballs. Played 4 missions so far, and getting all those engineers really makes a difference. I am a tad worried about like.... if you didnt manage to win every mission? then you just might end up to far behind. That omega launch corp is super tricky if they start launching stuff! I see now that we have to buy out the stocks of dea

started a new campain. This time i did indeed get the perk i was promised. None of the provinces, however, are marked as mine. and my set of engineers is messed up. I now have the set of engineers the other person in the region had.
Tried starting a new campaign. This time, however, after winning the first mission... the perks were all messed up! I picked the spot which should have given me 20 dollars, and an extra free claim. I ended up getting 17 dollars, and a food shipment. I also had access to the pleasure dome, and patent lab, which i did not buy engineers for. (although, ending the previous mission ended with me buying out a person with those engineers? so did i
It also seems less ridiculously hard, thanks to the 50% production buff. thanks. It is also super interesting now, because one has to be ultra careful they are processing raw materials into goods at efficiencies which are profitable. A single steel mill, or glass factory, or chemical plant might generate net losses if one is not careful! Very cool.
Things were going fairly well in the new build. One first match. Lost second match. Get this weird error when trying to press the start mission button to start the third.
Current patch also seems not quite 100%. I managed to win the first campaign mission, and i got zero points for it, nor did i get the perk i was promised, nor did my income go up.... and the area on mars is not claimed as mine.
I tried out a campaign game today. well. Lets just say the game ended with everyone's stock costing 1.00, and thus, with all the insurmountable debt... the question became who could sell enough crap to reach 10k to buy out each other the fastest. I did not win this race. I feel like... there should be some mechanic of 'your debt is too dam high! you cant buy stocks right now!' Are the AI getting free funds
why is it always more fun to watch other people make mistakes than to try and play the game yourself.
Seconding the protect ability feeling underpowered. at least in the early and mid game.
Thanks for the reply!, but I feel that limiting players because newbies might not know better is just odd. Now, if you had said, we want to make geothermal's power only, because otherwise someone will just claim ALL the geothermal tiles at the beginning, and then build other things there, and then revert to geothermal power later on. that might make more sense.
After acquiring the game yesterday, I proceeded to play it from 5 pm to past midnight, completely forgetting to eat food. So the game is pretty fun and awesome as it is. I played all the tutorials, a campaign, a few single players games, and today are started on a second campaign. I have checked the multiplayer lobby many times, but it has always been empty. :( So, good stuffs. very fun game. Now there is s
you can disable the screen as an input device in windows. it is under control panel > pen and touch. I have a touch enabled laptop, i have turned off the touch, but kept on the pen. thus i can write without all the touchings messing everything up. extra features which are turnoffable is not a problem. unless they add to the cost. to which. it does, but not by enough to make a difference.
if cinematic settings are on, many things might be invisible.
Officially fixed? i guess that would be next patch. ask a dev about when that might be though. I quickly whipped up a fix for the map with the issue resolved... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/36550973/The%20Void.zip be careful what you do with this file, I am not responsible if you somehow do something that causes you to frag up your game somehow magically. <

known issue. Use normal start as a work around.
our constitution does block orwellianism. at least according to the people that wrote it. but its meaning has been twisted since then.
ya. I think it has something to do with star citizen being plugged on the popular webcomic Ctrl+alt+del's page. and the end of the drive here very shortly.
how are the new maps. Competitive mode useful? hows the balance. VR are still banned? hows the minidumps. Saw some people dump today... so ya. i havent seen any feedback threads. just wondering why,
I still play it. Oh, you mean online. Never really have. (98% of all buyers).
That statistic is a lie and you know it. I sampled ICO and steam's report of players and the number of people on ico at any given time was between 10 and 20% of the total number of players. That doesnt include lan games. Saying that 98% of buyers never even touched multiplayer... completely untrue
THe coupon was in the request email.
very interestings. this changes things.
I really like my fujitsu convertible tablet. i7, Nvidia graphics card. CD disk drive. 3 usb ports, HDMI, touch, pen, and pressure sensitive screen, keyboard. It and my phone are the only two computing devices i own.
I want my kol too. :(
It is only limited by the range and by the fact that due to how sins math does work the actual damage reduction is only half as high as the values above: --> 9% / 16% / 27% / 41% Utterly incorrect. It is only "half has high" as a value, if the value was 100%... which would give a 50% damage reduction. 18% reduction
