I logged in to Impulse to play some Galactic Civ and I realized I still have this game active. Is it still a disaster from start to finish with mega lag, terrible AI, dropped games, bad record keeping, etc. etc. etc. I was just wondering because I haven't played in a month or 2 and I might get tired of DOTA someday, but probably not. Anyways, thanks.
1.50/50 on the lag, seen some players just randomly lag out. <p
Impulse came with Demigod, so for Demigod, Impulse is a part of that. Otherwise, use steam? they have every game + incredible deals. I bought assassin's creed for 10 bucks a couple months ago, come on..
Because you use one, you can't use the other or what? I use both.
Just as the title says Is eve hard to start playing?
Yes, most people i know that have tried EVE are failing at the tutorial. I'm playing it at the momment, but i'd say its really a game for people that enjoy crunching numbers and/or industrial focussed games.
Alright guys, serious question. Unleash all your technical skills to solve this problem, because it's very serious. So in pokemon, how did the pokedex work? Could you just point it at a pokemon, it takes a picture, parses the image and figures out what that little beastie in front of you is? Or did the pokemon have to say its name, then the pokedex could use some sort of vocal recognition to figure it

I am not sure if my motherboard supports the Yorkfield Core 2 Quads, as EVGA's site is down so I cannot contact them. It will

Don't come up with some crappy "NO U" retort and then think thats it's the smartest thing you've ever said.....scratch that, it probably is the smartest thing you've ever thought of. 2. This is where our conversation ends, if that doesn't make sense to you, then you just fail. I'm done with you Have fun posting whine posts about how much you su
Can you explain what content Valve promised that isn't being delivered? Gabe Newell explicitly promised "more campaigns, more characters, and more weapons." We've seen none of those. As an added bonus, L4D2 undermines the yet-to-be-released SDK for L4D, since modders will be loathe to put effort into mods for a game that will be out of date in a few months. Split the playing community, split the modding community, and

Thanks to World of Warcraft pandering to every request/moan/whine/bitch, the gaming community have developed into a bunch of elitist pricks thats only thoughts are "why isnt this game tailored 100% to my liking, I PAY YOUR SALARIES LISTEN TO ME!!" So now, everything is either "overpowered" "nerfed" "broken" "not working as intended." See L4D2 as an example of gamer whine. We need to invent a new term for this! Suggestions?
Spit is only a problem for players that like to run away.So it's only an issue for players who don't like dying, good to know.
Theres a difference between running away like a panzy everytime you see a UB. And tactically retreating when you're in trouble. You must be a student of the former.

Yep Net cafe's are often full of pre16's. Mainly because their parents do not have/are hogging/don't want to share their internetz with their kids, so the kids take their lunch money instead and go to an internet cafe, this is how nerds are born. Anyway, my friends are super-competitive, so whenever we game, we end up pushing ourselves and improving a lot. You wouldnt believe how insanely good at certain games we were due to competing against each other. Howe

To the OP, welcome to demigod, yep there is a stark difference between the DoTA community and Demigod community, partly because Demigod isn't currently as popular as DoTA so the riff raff is on a smaller scale, partly because the new gamers are socially inept awkward muppets so they stick with something for 20years before they try something different. And partly because there may be seasoned trolls around to get rid of said muppets [e digicons][/e] [quote who="land
No news for a while... GPG seem to have distanced themselves from this game (and star dock) and it would seem that all of their focus is on SC2. Stardock seem busy with their new game too... where does this leave DG? I've already noticed that the number of players online is dropping a lot and find it impossible to get into a game most nights, due to lack of others online. Of the 60+ people in my friends list there's no more than 1 or 2 online these days
Sedna and Queen of Thorns are too overpowered. Please remove women from the game. Heal/shield cooldown needs to be increased SIGNIFICANTLY in order for this fucking game to be playable. JESUS
I've never had a problem with these 2, a well played sedna is tough, but killable, as for QOT i've never had an issue fighting her.
