never mind the -w switch already works... I just had a brain dead moment. still crashes for me though... *sigh*

ie "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Elemental" -w to start in windowed mode "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Elemental" -ns to start with no sound etc.
