Erebus is just silly, help needed. in Demigod Demigod Forums

I play Oak, simple as that, I have since day 1 and Im not even close to being as good with any other Demigod. And since day 1 I have HATED erebus. I wipe the floor with every other demigod, but a decent erebus is always a challenge. A good erebus makes me want to rage quit. Regulus is a good support and utility demigod, but like Sarmis says, you rarely see a regulus carry his weight. Often he can make a big difference with well placed snipes and mines, but personally I find it very easy to beat a lone regulus. I play Oak.

I play minion\support Oak and tower rook and Erebus has never given me trouble. UB spit is annoying more because Ive watched my teammates get hit with it around half HP and not make it back to base. hit rook while hes setting up. Regulus mine ability is set off by towers, combine that with him outranging the towers makes regulus a pretty nasty counter to tower rook. In pantheon thats another story... A single player can generally harass rook enough to slow his tower crawl down ALOT, or stop it earlier in the game. Once hes set up he makes for a invaluable safe haven for allied heroes, and if he sets up in your terriory getting him out is TOUGH.

taking someones portals takes a huge drive or horrible map control on the team whose portal got stolen. So yeah it can be a game ender, cause its damn hard to pull off vs a good team.

Demigod is freakin amazingly balanced considering its brand new. They really did alot of testing I imagine. Every time I see a skill that seems overpowered, I figure how to counter it in a couple games, and Im constantly amazed at how well each demigod can preform once you learn how to play em. When the game first was released everyone was complaining about how weak rook is. Now everyones complaining about his towers.. and QFT Frogboy. UBs spit needs some tweak

Oh. Oh WOOOW. I just checked out league of legends or whatever, oh my god the art... your right. Its like WC3 meets anime meets looney toons... WTF were they thinking? Graphics dont make a game, but it seems they can kill it, I'd never try that game out simply because it looks so stupid. And I was complaining because Erebus looked cartoony hahahaha. I think DG will continue to evolve, I hope it dosent get too competetive though.

I have yet to see boulder roll and hammer slam combo be very effective. Is the max stun longer than the hammer cast? I like your guide, and think you bring up some cool ideas. Some of what you state is kinda obvious to an average player, but good for beginners. Itd be fun to play rook this way, tower crawling across a map is the best way to play rook for now though. The graphic included with you guide is however, epic.

Rook is great for forcing ground on a UB. His structural transfer skill even at level 2 can pretty much negate spit if you have the mana. Pop towers and even if you cant kill the UB, you can push him back by moving your towers forward. Oaks pretty good vs UB 1v1 if he has his minions. If not just run away. I think spit DOES need to be tweaked to have a much longer recharge time. You can kill a demigod early on with just 2 spits. (Regulus atleast) Thats kinda silly. I play Rook an

I thought the release of demigod was screwed up because of both gamestops early release and the huge amount of pirates trying to get online or whatever.
