Newbie Here, Question about Add Ons in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Just got GalCiv II, wondering which addons from the libraries are recommended. Specifically stuff concerning building custom ship designs. Jewlery, parts, module. Also anything else recommended. I have the original game only, (Dread Lords) no expansions yest. Thanks, Simon
