Why do we need to register our game to Stardock account on every PC? in Sins Rebellion Sins Forums

So Rebellion is using Steamworks as a DRM and it needs Steam to run. So why do we need to register our game to our Stardock account on every computer? I know that process is really quick but some people has problem with it. Also why do you need another DRM, isn't Steam enough? I hope you will remove it in future because I think we don't need it. Finally is there limited activations for the game?

Yes, Rebellion won't be available on Impulse because it is a Steamworks game and it needs Steam. Maybe they will sell the game key on Impulse though at the release. Also you don't need Impulse to download and play Trinity AFAIK. Just log in to your Stardock account and you can download and play the Trinity without the Impulse. www.stardock.com

Will the full game support Steam Cloud for savegames? I hope it will. It would be really good for cross PC players. I am playing my games on my notebook and PC so I can continue my games from every PC. Thank you, I hope you will do it.

Why it isn't an automated process? I hope you will charge the card immediately like the Steam for pre-purchases in future for your next games. This is really annoying to wait. It is 11:20 PM right here. Edit: Oh, I got my key finally. Downloading the beta, no sleep for me then. :D Thanks.

So now Gamestop owns Impulse maybe we will see Stardock's games on Steam too in future? It would be really good to see Sins of a Solar Empire, Demigod and Elemental, etc... on Steam too.
