However, this: "I guess if you only played one game on a desert map I suppose. What about on a Terran map or alien world map or an ice world? You could level this same complaint (about the terrain textures) at any game. " At SupCom, yes (worse than AotS); but not at any other RTS I can think of; Grey Goo, Starcraft 2, any of th

If only, but I keep it in Singapore.
Its an RTS, frame rate plays a comparatively small role in the UX, UI latency is far more significant here. I've seen you seen you around the PA forums, you know how much of an issue the UI latency is for the game, and why I'm so worried about Coherent based games. And as i said, GTA was actually a friend, i'm at 1GB, although i am using 1.5GB worth of resources with no significant performance issues. Interestingly, I had more significant frame-drop issues on my 4GB 290 (3
Like the title says, is the 2GB VRAM requirement a hard limit you expect to see for release, is it going down with time/updates or is a soft limit now and 1GB would be functional, but not 100% performant? I've gotten very suspicious of VRAM limits, especially larger ones like this. GTA V just as (one of many) suggests 1GB as a minimum, but my friend gets ~25fps with 512MB; and thats just one example, I have plenty more. So I would prefer to know what the actual situation is,
