Hi Zubaz. Yes I'm a subscriber. I copied and pasted your link, but it said bad gateway. I'll just play around in the skin editor and see if I can figure out how to edit his work. He done such a good job and I'd hate to ruin it. I'll be carefull. I just installed my first program again from Stardock and it's working perfectly. It's the sound package. I think I know what happened the first time and I won't make that mistake again. I've got a

Hi ZubaZ. I went to the skin and read the comments, but do you think I can find where I can leave a comment? Is it just me or is this Web-site that difficult to navigate in? Can you draw me a map please? Brian

Hi Zubaz. It just clicked. You're the guy that made a Window Blind that I just love. My wife thinks it's great as well. It's the green one with the brown in it. It must have taken you a long time to make it. I've tried other Blinds, but I always go back to yours. I also have installed the Blind Editor and was wanting to change where you type the web address in IE. I find with the dark green and the black font, it just too hard to read the addres

Thanks for the suggestions Zubaz. I'm going to try your suggestions and hopefully everything will work out fine. I guess it's a little confusing and exciting when I purchased Ultimate Object Desktop and it's loaded with programs, inwhich all look sooooo good. I'll try and contain myself once I get everything up and running again. I've got Vista installed again and I'm getting the updates and then I'll start with Stardock again... slowly. Brian

Well it's been a frustrating morning today. Since uninstalling Stardock on my PC Computer because I had uninstalled programs earlier and made a mess of the uninstalls, it's started a whole lot of problems. I used the restore feature in Vista to try and back up to where it was working perfectly, installed Stardock again, but could not get the Sound Package to work, although it had worked before the uninstall. Then I couldn't change my Window Blinds from what it was set at.&nb

Thanks Highlander. I thought about that after the fact, but from now on I'm always trying to remember to shut it down while playing with Stardock. Sorry I would have responded earlier but hadn't noticed that there's a second page started. Brian

Well I've been a busy little beaver. I don't have CursorFX on my system. I purchased Object Desktop Ultimate, but I guess it doesn't come with it. I already had CursorXP from way back when I had XP for a system. I installed the sound program but for some reason it won't work. I think I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling it again. When I download a Deskscape, and it's in my Download folder, how do I move it to the Stardock folder with doing it manually?&nb

Thanks so much Philly & Wizard. I had tried Right Click before but found that the font was so tiny I could hardly read the options. Is there a way to increase the font size on it? You guys have been such a great help and inspiration for me. I've got a feeling I'll be on this forum for quite a while before I get comfortable with all the software. I'll be back later to let you know how I've done. Brisn

Morning All. Well, so far it's been a very productive morning. I've downloaded, removed previous Impulse using Impulse, and reinstalled it. Then I downloaded bootskin, restored my Vista bootskin to original, and now I'm going back in. I'll download Object Desktop first and hopefully it will ask for registration right away and hopefully things will go smoothly. I've shut down Webroot so I shouldn't have any Spyware popup warnings from the Firewall filter. I'll kee

Wow!! That has to have been the most difficult programs to uninstall. It's taken over 1-1/2 hours. It just doesn't want to leave. I tried the link that was gien to me which first appeared to work fine until it came to the larger programs and then that's when all the problems started. I think it's all gone now, so I have to start to redownload and install again. Bootskin was a real problem. I can't get the Vista boot skin loading anymore. I still

Hi Philly. I'm running Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I have 64-bit on my Notebook Computer. I'm hoping to put the program on it as well. I'll definately be back to let you guys know how it all went. You've been most helpful and I thank you so much. Brian

Thanks again you guys. When I was installing Object Desktop I hadn't entered any reg keys and I got a popup that said the key number was invalid, so I closed the popup and continued installing the software. I wondered why each program had a registration icon in it since I bought all the stuff as a package I'd assumed. I have a spyware blocker running in the background (Webroot Spysweeper) and I know I should have closed it before installing because it blocked the program whi

Hi guys and thanks for such a fast response. I did have a trialware version on and tried to install the full version but had a whole lot of problems trying to register it. I was using Dreamscapes or something like that. I had the dragon one for the desktop. I tried tech support by email but didn't get a response from them, and then I thought, "Maybe I should uninstall the whole thing and re-install". Then it worked OK. I still would get popups saying that i

I just finished purchasing Ultimate Object Desktop and was under the impression that I was going to have an awesome looking desktop. It almost appears that I got a shareware version of everything because there's not much in each of the programs that I received. When on the website for instance I see a bootskin of some nice looking pictures, yet every picture I've chosen to be in my bootup doesn't appear, just a washed out version of a Vista backdrop, which I didn't choose to have
