Well is there a way we can let skinners on this site know about this it looks like she's mostly using Wallpapers. Perhaps a repost with an "alert all skinner read" type thing? Just a suggestion. I love this site and the people who share thier art with us and would like to help protect their work! PS thanks for the move, I wasn't sure where to post this!

Question about artists rights and other sites in Permissions WinCustomize Forums

Hey Folks, I have a question. I found this person on MyOpera which I have an account on. Her name there is Baby_2u. She has a wallpaper photo gallery which is here: http://my.opera.com/baby2u/albums/show.dml?id=423202 that has many images I recognize from Wincustomize, I don't see any bylines or recognition of artists and I'm sure the images are by different artists. Now you See it NOw you Don't TM has dissappeared in Theme Manager Stardock Forums

Ok first I have an Object Desktop upgrade from standalone to ultimate. Originally when I registered it on Impulse i was able to download Theme Manager and it worked very nicely. Just tonight I saw an upgrade for TM so I tried to do so. I received an error saying something to the extent that "this application was not available on this network and a ref #" I ran validate installation and received "this application is not installed correctly". I did a windows update the other day, and the next thing I know Bling (Bing) is on my top bar and in my search engine. I immediately sought ought the way to excorsize it. Go to manage addons (Vista) and delete it!! done no more conspiracy. It wouldn;t be so bad except that I wasn;t even asked if I wanted it on my system. It just appeared after a simple update!

Ok so here's what I found out. In the problem with DesktopX and weather widget zip code error I started checking things so I went to sysmetirx and did a weather update. I noticed the date on the update was august 4th so I checked my systems date and time and found the date had somehow changed (no idea how that happened) I reset the date and on a hunch went to Wincustomize and tried to log on and all was well, this was after I tried to login just before noticing the date problem and I co

I sent a ticket in to support, it seems to be only happening on one of my computers, unfortunately it's the one I use to create most of my Logons with. I cleared my cache and history but no change. All of my systems seem to login just fine but that one. It happens with all of my Wincustomize/Stardock sites including my Impulse, forums/etc..... Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Hey Folks, I was on my system at home earlier checking out some of the new skins and as I went to download, the site logged me off and I couldn't log back in. Couldn't log in to Forums, Stardock or Wincustomize. I finally used Wincustomize central to download the skins but the logons still didn't work there either as well as Impulse. I'm at a local coffee house now and everything seems fine. Did anyone else experience this as well??
