Good to hear.... I would be interested to know what service it was exactly...
It calls itself the "NVIDIA Telemetry Container", and I have since read during research that the vast majority of nVida users will disable it imediately because it benefits them none.

A little update: A friend of mine mooted the idea of disabling the nVidia service. I tried it and whoa....... it worked. I have tried to find exactly what this service actually does without success, but I haven't lost any usability nor noticed any side affects so I'm a happy bunny. Everything now seems to be running perfectly.

Boot time without WB is in reality 7 seconds, WITH WB it increases to about 29 seconds (sits on the welcome screen simply staring at me!) Very many thanks for the fast reply.

I have indulged in a new M2 for my i7700 / Gigabyte GA-Z270 board. It is blisteringly fast...... until I install Windowblinds (7, 8 and 10 tried) It is a new drive, a fresh install of Windows 7 with NO other software installed. The evidence is simple. I install Windowblinds, the machine slows down, I uninstall Windowblinds and it's like 5 seconds from power on to desktop. I have been using Windowblinds for as long as I remember and don't wish to stop now, are th

What intrigues me is that there is alternative software out there that (almost) does the same job (for free) and Multiplicity is simply being left behind. Why?
