I want to know how to stop "show desktop" from hiding the dock. The "keep on bottom" option works, but it makes the docks appear when I use other applications like firefox. The "hide in background when not in use" option hides the dock from firefox, but when I press "show desktop" it hides the dock as well. Is it possible to have it "pinned" to the desktop like samurize, where it won't mess with applications? I just want it to show whenever I am looking at my

Thanks for the reply! I'm using XP, and the "hidden folders" method only succeeded in making the folders grayed out, but still very visible. Also, show hidden files and folders is disabled.
Hi, I'm looking for a way to allow me to hide OR change the size of only certain icons/folders on the desktop. It is a bunch of folders that I constantly use ie music, videos, downloads, and uni stuff. Reason being I want these few folders to look BIGGER than other desktop icons. Either that, or I want to HIDE only these folders so that I can use a dock launcher (which allows me to adjust their size). Is there a way to do either of these without affecting othe
