EDIT: think of a name for your race so I can start adding the links to the templates. Or any other race we need. I already have a sister race for advent started called BEntuzi.
I was thinking of a human race that was all about elegance and style... And money. Basically TEC but with synergy in abilities and disables like Vasari, coupled with the graceful look of the Advent. I'll have to upload my

Very good then. I will let you tear into the game and remove all the components that you can. I will look into using other mods assets and gathering model files together. Will you be making all the icon, research and UI assets? I could possibly help on that front as well. And I agree with the balance build. However, we will need to see what rebellion will bring. I am assuming we will be making this for the reb

I've got a friend who is into the SG stuff.... looks good! So what is the plan for gathering the components for this mod? Are we going to combine many of the already existing mods (with credits of course) or just use the assets of them? And HOLY CRAP the balance issues! This is going to be one fun project, if we all can pull it off... What races do you think we will need new ships built for? This is a large scale project, so an organi
True, it would be easier but the biggest issue for this game (IMHO) has always been the weakness of the capitals. Many modders (myself included) have taken the time to work through buffing and balancing the capitals with much success. It can be done. In Distant Stars capitals are stronger. The result is now in MP games capitals last longer, help the fleet more and force the player to be more selective other then the spam capital carrier routine.[/quote
I tried to mount beam weapons into the nose and it looked terrible. Took a look at the forward facing plates on the front but anything placed there is too close to the hull and will clip through the head when firing ingame. The bigger panel is extremely uneven and misaligned but I intend to try to mount some missile launchers there.
Hmmm.... I don't know. It looks ok, but something just

Silly stant In my defense, the wording doesn't say that. Quoting SivCorp, reply 5748I fear if it is too small that carriers will be degraded to glorified defense vessels. It says that their status will be changed to the lesser status of defense (as opposed to assault). See, not so silly am I?

Yup, myfist.... I'm curious as to how this is going to play out now. No one can cover up the decline now.... not even the media and politicians. And GOOD FOR YOU SIR! I do notice that the donations are dropping, but I think that's a result of families having to look out for themselves more, due to the continued erosion in the economy, society, security, ect. EDIT: <a title="US Rate D
That's fine, but then don't be surprised when someone wishes on you what you in effect wish upon others by your indifference. Also you are making a major assumption which is that the only reason people need help is because of "poor retirement planning" and if only they planned properly then they would be fine and that is a major fallacy. blah, blah..... The bottom line is if you can't un
Why would you say that? If they're not good enough to be included in the attack force, then they sure as hell won't be included in a defense force. I fail to see how one persons poor retirement planning should be paid for by me.... And as far as penny's verses dollars.... How much out of a dollar sent to the government actually makes it back to a needy individual? Government entitlement programs are not the answer.

I would suggest putting a beam array in the red location and a missile array in the blue section. Both would work well.

I like it better without the bumps. Maybe mount them on the three side wings instead? And offset them with a tapered mount. You may need to redesign the weapons to make them thinner, or make the wings thicker...

I think the tax code could go for a reset as well... Everyone whines for equality, so why not equal taxes? The graduated tax code gives way too much power to the upper class in government. And I LOVE the term limits idea. No career politicians! No matter how "good" they are. "you eather die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain" -- :)
