Mentioning nuclear power to an AGW propoent is met with nearly the same reaction as denying AGW exists. Why is that? Just for the record, there are a LOT of reasonable AGW supporters who are heavily in favor of nuclear power. There are people in this thread who are pretty negative on any idea, but they don't speak for all of us.[/quote]</p

It wasn’t about panic and catastrophe, which unfortunately has dominated our climate debate, leading

I'm actually considering if force is needed to solve this problem. At the moment we still have time for diplomatic solutions, but force might be needed later in this century. From what I gather from the reports they have new theories and hypothesis that that have to incorporate into their models. So yes, they are saying the oceans are absorbing the excess heat that "should" have occurred but they didn't anticipate this in their original modelling. What is unfortunately not the consensus, except for the indoctrinated, is that human activity is the main driver behind global warming. Round and round we go ;) Why has the earth not warmed

I think the equation goes like this for negatives. modifier percent is negative s = starting value n = new value n * (-(-modifier) + n = s example: decrease weapon cooldown of 14 by -25% is n * (-(-25%) + n = 14 or n = 14/1.25 or n = 11.2 modifier percent is positive s = starting value n = new value s * (modifier) + s = n example: increase weapon cooldown of 11.2 by 25% is 11.2 * 25% + 11.2 = n or n = 14
