mining questions in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

New to the game and am looknig for information on how to start mining. I've tried to send constructers to anomallies, but there is no option to build a mining starbase.

Noob questions in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

This is probably a stupid question, but how do I use modules at space stations? I have two stations that both say they have modules available, but I can't figure out how to use them. Also, I can't figure out how to research things that can be mined. Is it just a tech that I need to develope? Any advice would be helpful as well, thankyou.
