Try the following from within Impulse: -Click the Impulse Logo in the upper left -Choose 'Preferences...' -Click the 'Reset Data' button -Close impulse and relaunch it. You may notice a long update time, which is normal as it is rebuilding the deleted info. If this does not resolve the issue, I would suggest uninstalling Impulse, rebooting your PC, and then reinstalling from the latest installer build here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_s

I would suggest that you keep using the DemigodStub.exe to run the game if that is working for you. If the stub file is working for you, that generally means that something on your PC is interfering with the game trying to launch, and the stub file is working around that conflict.
Try deleting the file 'Games.prefs' which is located here: YOUR USERNAME\My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod Then launch Demigod and try to log into multiplayer.
Your support ticket has now been responded to. Please check your email.

Some issues like you are describing are caused by an audio conflict. The developers are aware of the issue and are working on a solution for it. There are a few things you could try that have worked for many people: First, make sure your audio drivers are completely up to date. Second, go to the audio settings in the game and turn off the Reverb option. Third, go to the Windows Control Panel and open your audio/sound settings and change the configu
It take a while for Impluse/Stardock to recognise the change.
It can take up to 24 hours to update your username completely; until it's fully updated, it will still show the old username in-game/chat.
I've seen some users with the consistent 5-10 minute failure that solved their issue by updating DirectX. This will make sure that you're up to date: http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en
