As long as you are running Impulse for updates, you can also uninstall Fences through Impulse by simply right-clicking on the Fences icon under the My Desktop tab and selecting Uninstall.
Wow, this is a very old thread. Shoot us an email at and we'll try to get you all fixed up.
For clarification: the 14th is the release date. That is all.

Thinking about how awesome OD2.0 will be helps me sleep at night. [e digicons][/e]
This is a known issue with network shortcuts that has a workaround. Open up a Run command box and type ncpa.cpl to open up your Network Connections window. Now you can't drag the icon straight from here to the dock because it gets a little confused, but, if you right-click on the icon and select Create a Shortcut, it will add a shortcut on your desktop that can then be dragged to the dock and work properly.
That should be no problem if you're using a different theme on each one. The only real issue you'd run into would be if you were trying to use the same theme on all of them at the same time. Also, if you are installing any particular theme too many times individually, you may exceed your activation limit. In general there is no problem installing Impulse and different themes on each of your machines through the same Impulse account. Let us know if you
Good call on the left-handed-ness!
That's what we're all here for [e digicons][/e]
Yeah, uninstalling was the original option to fix that issue before the update was found, so we offer that up too. It's your choice of which option to use(my choice = [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e] ).
Have you put in a support ticket?
Lantec is correct. It's a known issue with the E-Security program that comes pre-loaded on most Acer computers. The update available here: http://www.egistec.com/oem-acer001/program-update.html (from the link LanTec provided) should clear it up.
Also, if you haven't seen it yet, we have a handy dandy program over here: https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/ that may also help with any other icon related needs.
No.
That is correct!
Great work-around with the Hot Key option.
Which options are you using in CursorFX? I'm trying to replicate the problem, but so far it's been working for me with random settings.
It could be one of your Docklets isn't loading correctly. Have you tried unloading and reinstalling through Impulse? http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe Go to Start > Run... (Start > Start Menu Search in Vista) and then copy this into the command line: for XP: %userprofile%\local settings\application data\stardock for Vista: %userprofile%\AppData\local\stardock\ It
Strike that last post; we've got an update to the theme that should fix the checkbox problem. You'll want to just uninstall/reinstall the theme. Try it out and let us know if you have any issues still.
We've got something you can try for this now. We'll just need you two to drop us an email at and just put Princess Theme Checkboxes in the subject line.
