Imbalance of culture rates between TEC and Advent in Sins of a Solar Empire Stardock Forums

Hi guys, New to the game and playing entrenchment in SP. Just noticed a discrepency when watching a replay: The advent equivalent to broadcast centre generates 3 culture/sec base (no upgrades) The TEC one generates 3.8 culture/sec base (also no upgrades) To me that means that TEC one beats advent one hands down, just to compete in culture on an equal level - the advent player has to research 5 culture upgrades.(max of 6) Whereas TEC has another
